Dino Bear Same here - I guess that out of all characters, I like to play the most mobile ones, instead of ones that are overpowered or good in the current meta. The off-meta bin may be my humble home, but, hey, Genji is HELLA fun to play, so it's a price I'm willing to pay. (Other off-meta mains include Tracer, Zen and Ana, with Ana being the closest I get to in-meta picks.)
The Phara story is so common. I almost always probe the enemy dps with Phara in solo Q... they misplaced, envo kills; bad aim, play oppressive; good aim, well, switch. As tank, I see phara dominating, pick & deny with DvA, although get shit talked alot picking DvA in such situations.
IDK why, but certain heros I can just hit shots with. Ana, for example. I'm a terrible Widowmaker/Ashe, but I can get 50% scoped accuracy on Ana. The difference probably comes down to positioning and pressure. Same with Genji, but I can't hit the broad side of a barn with Torb's primary.
I feel like he should be an Overwatch commentator because he can probably make the most boring fight seem like a god tier anime underdog friendship speech fight
i agree that pharah should easily be killed by any hitscan dps, BUT if they have a pharah + mercy combo you can't expect 1 single dps player to take care of the fuckin dbz fusion that is pharamercy. only way one person can counter that is with widow, the forbidden hero who actually is meta now but apparently you're still throwing if you pick her.
here's the trick for pharah: just kill their hitscan, you can do just as much damage if not more if you hit your rockets, and flanking is ultra easy as pharah because nobody looks up, and you can go over rooftops if you need to as well (also if you have a mercy pocket and they dont have a good widow you just kinda win 90% of the time)

Walking me off in spawn, throwing the game, blocking us off from the obj. I was so tilted and that kid just kept laughing asking "what's wrong? You wanna get GM right?" And he was DIAMOND. I've never been so tilted in my life, and I just left the game early because I was just so pissed and didn't play the game anymore because it took so long for me to get get back up the 3990 SR after huge losing streaks after staying at Top 500 for weeks. Quit the game soon after that. Im thinking about getting back into it, but idk. The community seems to hardly have changed.

It’s worse than ppl who purposely leave miles before we can tell if we’re gonna win or lose because they’re taking up a position that could be filled with someone who’s going to actually do something. On top of that, I’ve even had afk ppl in competitive. And some others who blatantly throw matches. Honestly, if your parents are talking to you leave the game. You’re only hindering your teammates. That’s what I do when I’m being talked to about something important
i mean if a phara is even halfway decent and her team is actually good like yours in this episode killing her as a mccree/otherc ounter with a bad team is impossible

honestly mercy counters phara. I've used Valk THREE TIMES to fly up and pew-pew-pew blast her in the head while she's ulting or meelee her. plus, Mercy's pistol is a hit scan so even when she's not in ult if you have good aim you can take down phara. I have a clip of me sleep darting a phara just as she starts her ult as a Ana, and then my rein solo-shatters her and me, Sigma and rein just gank her while she's down. If you're getting clapped by a phara.... that's on you.
Also you do know Lucio has always been meta in Overwatch so I'm a bit confused why this is called Off meta carry unless you switch. So you didn't switch which means you played one of the best characters in the game and called it an off meta carry 0.0
Well, imagine you're a Rein/Monke main. And then you are playing dps for shits and giggles, and the only DPSes you can play are Genji and Doom (mostly because you can't aim for shit). Oh, and well... Then Pharrah happens. That's the only justification I have for these players (mostly because I myself is one of them).

@@muneebow That's a matter of interpretation I guess. Her effectiveness and my personal dislikes aren't really connected but with Blizzard adding more and more hitscan heroes- I reckon there is a good reason she's rarely played
