They held a small parade and the people just stood and watched--no clapping or cheering. When my daughter came back from a year in Iraq her unit was invited to put three trucks at the end of the "Fire Prevention Parade." The bright spot was when we were standing on the island that ran down the middle of Main St. As our daughter rolled up in a HEMMIT wrecker she had to stop for the parade to move. She saw us, waved and said hi. Three little girls in front of us looked up and said almost in unison, "A girl is driving that truck!" It made their day that a "girl" was driving a very large Army truck. The Scots, Brits, and Irish, still recognize that service men and women are important. While citizens may disagree on whether the war is right or wrong they support the service members. We've mostly lost that in the US, all to often we treat our service people as if they are personally responsible for the wars.

3:29 - is the Jock fourth from the left excused "Eyes Front" on parade ?
Excellent. This Regiment sorted out Aden. This Regiment put fear of Jokes into the Malaysian jungle. Still going strong by the look of it.
Sadly not, once a proud regiment in their own right then reduced to a battalion of the the royal regiment of Scotland now reduced down to a ceremonial company of around 100. Sad but a sign of the times we now live in.
God Bless ! 🌟
Ich muss weinen❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such a parade would be unthinkale in Germany because we have many Leftards.
Preserve your culture and traditions. May the Gods bless Scotland.
Sincerely regards from Germany.
PS: Sorry for my bad English.

It's a fucking disgrace what the M.O.D. have done to this proud regiment reducing it to company strength as a ceremonial unit when the boasts more battle honours than most regiments in the British army, shame onyou M.OD.
And clearly visible is the flag of St. Andrew who was crucified on the cross upside down.
Why are some wearing dark green bretes and others caps with pomppoms????
