I just saw an article from a national park Ranger saying it’s illegal to put locks on anything in national parks. At the Grand Canyon locks are put on fences , etc then the keys thrown into the canyon where animals consume them and IF found by the rangers the animals require surgery in order to survive. The waterfall was pretty. My husband says the locks are usually put on by couples as a symbol of their love “locked together”. Also, it could be someone just saying they were there. Many blessings, Teresa
Enjoy your trip maybe next time I can meet you and mr,Bill for coffee, I grew up in Chattanooga I hope you got to go to broad st where the incline railway is I grew up in st elmo right at the foot of lookout mtn, their is a nice restaurant 1885 with outside seating and a ice cream shop across from it as a child my parents would take us to the ice cream store and it was called kays kastle their was a kid climbing on the outside of the ice cream cone that amazed me it was made out of plastic but it was fun to look at, sorry I could have been your host but I had surgery this week, have a fantastic time.!!
