To much packed into a short story, it had to hurry to get it all in. It didn't allow for any development of characters or of the story. It failed to convey that in war, even for the victor, there is always losses with names attached.

Not sure I like the narration as there are emphasis placed incorrectly, and at the wrong cadence and pitch!! PLEASE STOP WITH THE DOGGONE COMPUTERIZED NARRATIONS, they suck. If that is a human, he is incorrect in the methodology! Otherwise, a damned good story!!
