I believe I talked to the same guy at mantis. Gary??? I think that's what his name was. The Vuja De karambit I got fell apart within a week of flipping. It has the ringed pummel so you'd think it would be ok flipping. Nope... When it fell apart "Gary" told me that I took it apart to swap the belt clip for right hand use. Which was bullshit because I'm left handed. But that asshole didn't care about that. He was right and I was wrong. So I'm now stuck with a $100 knife that's in 12 pieces. I've never had someone in customer service "ever" accuse me of something to try and get out of replacing a single fucking screw that shot off the spring went when it took a big shit in my hand. TBH I had several mantis knives picked out that I was going to order. But needless to say I will never buy another blade made by or associated with mantis. Sad thing is I really like the look of their blades.
I carry a knife anyway I know the law says it's illegal but I look at it this way 1 how often do I get searched 2 if 3 people decide to pick on me what do I have? 3 do I want to walk home at night and would I be prepared to slice someone open if I had no other choice but to do so? Yes I will and am I prepared for my knife to be used against me in the heat of the moment absolutely if I do get caught with it then I will deal with the consequences right there and then
Nice collection. I just started with knives at 57 yrs old. I have bought some nice ones. I have several fillet knives because I am a fisherman. Of the fillet knives I really like my knives of Alaska steelheader & Coho. both made of 440c steel. I also have from knives of Alaska a really nice folder super light called the featherlight & has D2 & my sharpest knife. I have 6 Bubba blade fillet knives & a really nice case fillet knife & just purchased a Morakniv 6 inch comfort fillet knife. I have a benchmade mini griptillian with D2 found another on amazon with 440c called QSP Smooth Opening Folding Hunting Pocket Knife Ball Bearing System really good for the price. Now my most expensive knife I have is the Spyderco C36GPDBL Military folding (blurple) with CPM S110 steel.
Nice but what the hell is blurple? Lol i have an army tactical survival knife the steel on that is pretty shit quality despite it was a $60 knife my best knifes are my Karambit OMG that thing is sexy my Bowie i have a foldable 3in gerber not to sure the make or model its similar to the one in the video but with a serated blade 1.5in down the blade towards the handle unlike the one shown in this video honestly the Gerber is a great knife its small its quality is pretty decent but then again i mainly use mine to open boxes XD
I carried the CRKT in Afghanistan but it didn’t have the window breaker or seatbelt cutter. I carried Gerber standalone seatbelt cutter that was Army issued. It’s still hanging off my chest rig to this day. The CRKT has since fell apart. It’s not a hard use knife...
Couldn't you just use the blade and the tip of the blade as the seatbelt cutter and window smasher? Wouldn't that have done the same job? Also, thank you for your military service we are probably in 2 different countries but thank you regardless
Dude you gotta add a microtech otf to that collection!! Your boys at blade hq oughta hook it up!! If not.... worth whatever you do pay. Keep up the good work dude!!
I’ve Carrie a RAPTOR pocket knife (not the raptor your thinking of) and I’ve carried it for six years and used it every day since i got it. 10/10 best knife in my opinion.
I have one of those *Gerber* knives and it has a serrated edge, it’s an old version so you may not find it around anymore. It has an ergonomic grip which is black it also has a compression lock.
God, this channel has grown so damn fast. It feels like it was not even a year ago when I subscribed when you were at like 15k, but that’s probably because this year went by fast as fuck lol. But heck’s yeah brother.
I AGREE 1000% The 940-1 is my favorite knife I have ever owned. You think the action on the griptilian is nice, throw some blue lube on the 940 and it feels/sounds amazing!
I guess I started to follow you around here... I had to research after you posted your latest collection Update. Great to watch this one again. Take care
I've had my victorinox swiss army knife for years. I carry it everyday. I wouldn't call it a beater, lol. I have to touch up the edge a lot but I also use it a lot. I did break the tip of the large knife off but I shaped the blade to look like it's not really broken.
If you are looking for quality knives that do not cost a lot, check out "Ganzo". I am super happy with the Ganzo knives I own. Some of them are even better than the orignials from spyderco.
Charlie Schneider Practice. Never buy a real one first, because you could end up cutting yourself. I heard that you could put some duct tape over the blade on a real one, but not sure that’ll work.
I have that exact lansky kit and actually just put an edge on my favorite knife. I would reccomend 100 swipes each side, alternate every 10 and 500 per side on the last one (yellow)
Back onto the subject of knives for a second if I may: He doesn't really take good care of them... I mean he needs to open the cases (aswell as the knives) more carefully! He isn't appericiating them as much as knives should. Uncultured..
OK my friend, you redeemed yourself with the Benchmade Grip and those that followed. (The Tenacious and Leatherman are ok too.) Was gonna yank your man card in the beginning of this vid, but you turned it around. Need to see the guns too. Thumbs up.
I would highly recommend Leatherman, their customer service is five star in my eyes, i broke the point off the blade and was told to just send it back, they but a blade need blade on there and they gave it a full service on all the joints and sharpened everything to a high standard. Just brilliant, i was very happy. I get through a lot of knives working on a farm and the Leatherman Holds up.
In my opinion u wasted to much money on shit-knives. Sure, its ok to carry a low budget knife which wont make u cry when u lose it. But why is 80% of ur collection low budget? Something different: I dont want to offend u, i would describe myself as a fan of ur videos. I am German. When i see u pay for those kershaw and spyderco knives less then 50 bucks, i cry. My personal favourite knives of my collection: Survival: Fällkniven A1 Pro Survival low budget: Moria Folder: Zero Tollerance or Pohl Force Folder low Budget: Kershaw Daily Use / ultra low Budget to carry around: Sanrenmu (China Folder, but rly rly good ones, around 10 - 20$)
Welux you should check out the bark river gunny in cpm3v and the tops bob in 154cm steel. These knifes are almost indestructible! I chopped down a small tree and did some batoning and made a bunch of feather sticks and when I got back home they still sliced through paper like a hot knife through butter lol. That A1 is badass too though
Great video short sweet and somewhat descriptive but I like it and unlike a lot of people out there that just go on and on and on it gets boring, Basically bragging about how many they have in their collection and one guy that puts out a lot of content about his collection of knives which has north of 500 in it are upwards of 60 CRK (WOW) can you say addiction to buying knives everyone!!! I just watched one of your other posts and you pointed out the CRK I take that you may have recently purchased was a short to the point description of the knife which I will say was spot on how a descriptive post should be. I’m not a collector but I have a few nice knives and I just ordered a CRK Sebenza 31 large w/black micarta inlays and after seeing the post of how much you like yours makes me feel better about my choice to go ahead and pull the trigger on my order directly from CRK. I will say that the waiting period will be tough but worth it.😁😉👍
Best Benchmade I have ever had the pleasure of using is the Bedlam 8600 Auto. It's been my EDC for a while and if you have big hands and a large budget I can't recommend it more. I actually have a review on my channel if anyone is interested.
I have the same BM knockoff but with tanto blade. It is a god damn good knock off to be honest. I had no hope at all that it would be feeling great in the hand but it is feeling really steady and flips just fine.
the first gerber he showed is 20$ to 30$ at walmart and its a super nice knife for the price i've also carried it around for the past few years and I loved it, replaced it with a kershaw leak and thats even better for 20$ more personally
Still loving that ZT what a great blade awesome steel great action good size titanium frame lock with a steel lock insert carbon fiber scale on the other side really tough blade and American made😍.
Hey everyone, here is a more recent update of the collection! ua-cam.com/video/eiEkyy2NW8k/v-deo.html
