This soap is outstanding. I used it on a white Toyota Corolla that hadn't been washed in over a year. It had also sat under trees for most of that time. The CG Citrus wash cleaned that car amazingly. It removed all types of dirt, mold, bird crap and unidentifiable marks as well. It left an unbelievable shine too. I then decided to use it on my 2018 Mustang which is also white. I keep it spotless. I had used Meguiars NXT and topped it off with P&S Beadmaker. I was expecting it to strip my wax and sealant but I was wrong. It cleaned my car and gave the shine a bit of a pop beyond what was already there which is unbelievable. The water was beading like crazy after rinsing so the wax and sealant was still there. I will definitely keep this soap in my arsenal.
I used this soap and the pie filling is hard to get mixed with water, I use 1 tsp in a gallon of water. The pink shampoo I bought from Adams is much easier to use and it does a great job of cutting road grime. Some of the other soaps from CH really did not clean well for me and their marketing is misleading.
Great point on higher concentration of this product. I have used this at 3oz to 4 gallon of water. It totally stripped off the old wax. I also use this on a separate bucket, 1oz to 4 gallons of water for wheel cleaning. Extremely versatile. For, my regular wash I use Adam's Car Shampoo (old, red one) and use CG HoneyDew Snow Foam for my prerinse, with my MTM Hydro foam cannon.
I use it to strip wash with 3 oz. in a foam cannon. Then I use purple power in the bucket for the 2 bucket wash. Perfect for stripping old waxes and sealants. Just use honeydew snow foam for maintenance
First to comment!!! Lol nice video now i know what chemical guys soap to use when i need to strip my sealant. Where can i buy the sub machine gun wand?
+David Gian Padilla You win! You can get the short wand from almost any pressure washer supply company. You will have to put you own fittings on the end though.
the previous style packaging used to say concentrations for stripping LSP or for a general wash. the new one doesn't. I think this was a ploy to sell another product. you are right at higher concentration it can and will strip an old wax layer nicely. I love this stuff won't use anything else though am going to buy glossworkz as its got great reviews and you like it too. have you tried bilt hamber auto foam?
Good video. I’m curious though have you ever tried actually foaming the car and then using a soap soaked mitt to clean? Cause using like 5 wash mitts but not even putting a thick layer of soap from the cannon seems like a complete waste and counterintuitive. I mean why bother with a thick layer of foam(second coat) from the cannon if you aren’t going to utilize that and create a lubricating layer between the surfaces not just rely on the soapy mitt...
The foam is just soapy/water solution that is aerated. The actual work and lubrication is being done with the soap/water solution. The foam looks cool and everybody likes it, but its the water that does the work.
Did he say taste or paste during the water bucket part.. I normally don't allow my hands to touch chemicals until they mix with water and settle. Good video..
thanks, not sure if this is the only cannon you have used but just found out I am getting a cannon as a gift and the price doesn't really matter now as much so can get a really nice one. that being said, not sure with your experience with different cannons if you would know, but does Adams or CG have a better cannon? Im looking to produce the thickest foam blanket on the car as possible. thanks
Use it when you are going to apply another layer of wax or sealant. Use 3 oz. in foam cannon and then I use purple power in elite bucket. That will give u a clean slate of clear coat to work with. Use chemical guys honeydew snow foam for maintenance washes
@@TheBishop12 If you get something mixed correctly like a car wash soap, you shouldn't see the water line. that's kind of the point. you know the capacity of your wash by the capacity of the bucket if you're hand washing, for instance.

Mmmmm Adams red shampoo! That is the best soap I ever used.
Thanks for finally answering if this stuff will strip my sealant or not!

Thank you so much! I would also love to see adam car shampoo!
I have this stuff and let me tell you it will clean and leave your car shining lime new
Use a wash mit for better results and also a drying towel
How does this compare to the pink soap and meguiars gold class? Planning to upgrade my car wash 😬

What would you recommend using for a weekly wash on a daily driver? I drive 60+ miles a day and my car is white so it gets pretty dirty.
He does a review of Meguiar's Gold Class, so check that out, if it gives you an idea for a weekly wash soap.
Is this soap good to use on black gloss ?
Can you use that on a waxed car or will it remove the wax
Dude you need to dry your car with a microfiber towel 😂 I seen dry spots on the roof and hood because you waited to long to dry it
How long does your application of Adams sealant last typically?
What power washer do you use, any suggestions?
Did he say taste or paste during the water bucket part.. I normally don't allow my hands to touch chemicals until they mix with water and settle. Good video..

The MTM one is the best I mentioned earlier.
ok thanks and I know theres MTM ones on Amazon and then sw CG has an MTM model. so i will go with that one if you think is best. thanks!
This dirt is nothing as compared to what we have here in Pakistan.
If we have washed the car in the morning and by evening it would be this dirty.
how can you tell if it does not strip wax or sealant ?
thank you
Abdulrahman Hadid because it wont bead up water the water will cling to the paint
So I shouldn’t use it ?

What is your favorite car soap?
that was like 7 lbs of foam
Why don’t you put the detergent in the water first and fill it with a pressure washer afterwards so it foams up better and gets mixed nicely?
Uzair Ali Javed well cuz then you wouldn't be able to see the water line anymore now would you?

One bucket wash? No grit bucket? Honestly that smell knocks you for 6
Do a review on Adam's Car Wash Shampoo.

It will come off as you rinse.
