Don’t do comments but commenting on this! He’s pretty much the most most bad ass guest ever! Jimmie Vaughan is pretty much the coolest and most laid back American ever! Damn!
I'm not an expert but he's got the signs of early Alzheimer's. He's struggling to remember the difference between 12 o'clock and midnight, 4 mins in to the interview, and he repeats that story 3 times, makes my heartbreak
I’m stunned!!! Haven’t seen jimmie in years! I sincerely don’t think there’s a bigger fan of Stevie than myself. I absolutely love him to this day. I got a tattoo of him back in 95. So great to see Jimmie.
Jimmie, I am from Oak Cliff too. I lived on Maywood. Lived there in the 60s then moved North to Grapevine and Lewisville. My Ex-Brother In Law always claimed he (they) knew you and he said he hung out at your home. He was a few years older than I, probably born in Mid 50s. Their name was Wills. Steve or Steven is the one that claimed to know you and his brothers were Mike and Will. The Dad was an Optometrist Willard Wills, probably worked for Pearle back then, but may have been independent. The Mom was Patricia. Apparently they had Dinner Parties for Neighbors. Of course, it could also be BS. Thanks.
Yeah, but it's important to listen, and keep reminding them of those stories, if you run into that situation with a loved one, Every time Adam mentioned the documentary, it jogged Jimmie's memories
Did anyone else notice that at 1:50:08, right in the middle of Adam telling you the list of people and organizations whom you shouldn’t trust, there is a jump cut, and they have edited out something he said. I’d love to know what he said, and why they cut it out.
Just one of many times during this terrible interview that Adam Corolla was discovered with his pants down. But the worst part was his uncanny tendency to dwell on all the wrong areas and neglect the most significant aspects.
I am not surprised Adam does not like Jimmy Buffett music but he was worth 1 billion dollars was a best selling author a pilot of aircraft treated his crew well donated money to several charities and whose music is heard on boats and ships world wide.
As per the question posed by Adam, he definitely got the most out of his music/band. Maybe Kiss or as they mentioned Sammy with Cabo Wabo come closest but are way behind Jimmy.
I'm a Jimmie fan. He's a interesting guy with lots of fantastic experience. He's got his own tone/playing style. Adam is ok at best, but this is not a great interview. Go to Jimmy Vivino for another take on Jimmie Vaughan. BTW, I wouldn't rely on any of these guys for advice on covid.
My mirror twin used to go by the nickname Von... one of my sisters (fraternal twin) was married to a dude with the last name of Vaughn. Life is fairly Doctor Strange sometimes... Remember when Dr. Strange wore a mask ? Good times.
Our homeroom class was the wood shop! I can't remember that teacher's name, but he was blond and it seemed like he thought he was really handsome.@@jimmyhenson2167
Corolla can be an arrogant ass ...."so your dad was an alcoholic huh". .. apparently Jimmy's and Stevie s dad held down a job bought them their first guitar.encourged them to play.took them to bars to play. So what if he enjoyed the "honky tonks" as Jimmie said ....sounds like a pretty cool dad to me....just saying!!!!
But also on the fast food, like isn't it just people eating it all the friggin time now (and same with Coke and whatnot)? I mean, we were like a lower middle-class family/middle class, and as kids, I mean, I wouldn't even say we got fast food once a week. I'd say it was more like 1-2 times a month, and we weren't allowed soft drinks unless my mom was taking us to KMart to shop, and she'd buy us a fountain drink as a treat. We weren't just slurping on cokes all day at home. It was milk (were in dairy country) or water. I don't think cheeseburgers are somehow worse now (although they might be). It's just the difference of it being a treat versus being the norm.
I don't get it, sorry I'm sure it's just me. That was painful. The guitar center bit would work like a lead balloon. Love the show...hello to Bob Sacamano.
Saw Jimie (Fabulous Thunderbirds) in 2010 at the Doheny Blues Festival, (before the hipsters caught wind of the concerts and flooded it. Huge crowds on level ground makes it a pain to watch w/ all the drunk/high chicks "dancing" in front of people who are trying to watch from their blankets and low lawn chairs. That was the last time that I went, I don't care to watch a bunch of drunk old(er) women's butts when I'm there for the music.) Great show, other than those wasted chicks and sea of humanity.
Adam likes old country/blues etc...he just doesn't quite realize it yet. North Hollywood lol...where is the air conditioning? SRV, real lynyrd skynyrd, SRV and Albet king etc. Hiatt tells stories etc. That's country.
That microphone in front of Jimmy is too big. Can't even see his face. Adam Corrola, Get a better sound engineer. they make mics that sound just as good and are small.. Or tell the camera guy he needs to work at Disneyland.
bad interview, and I will even say very bad playing . Adam made the best of it I think but just my opinion the playing was amateur at best. I don't expect him to be Stevie but ... come on man
Thanks for having me on! People need to wake up - it goes way beyond the food system. The deck is stacked against all the everyday people
Met Jimmie Vaughan a couple months ago. Great documentary too!
Catch Jimmie Vaughn live, he's getting up there, always a good show 👍
Vaughan!
Don’t do comments but commenting on this! He’s pretty much the most most bad ass guest ever! Jimmie Vaughan is pretty much the coolest and most laid back American ever! Damn!
And was so good looking
One of the worst guests ever.

@@davroc46N2You might be on to something. Something was off about it.
Jimmie is the greatest guitarist ever. Lord Jesus, I pray he doesn’t have Alzheimer’s. He is 75, I think.
Saw SRV eight times…saw Jimmie and SRV at Pier 84 in NYC in 85’
I never got to see Stevie but my friend did. He knew I loved Stevie so much he gave me the ticket stub he kept. I still have it to this day.
I’m stunned!!! Haven’t seen jimmie in years! I sincerely don’t think there’s a bigger fan of Stevie than myself. I absolutely love him to this day. I got a tattoo of him back in 95. So great to see Jimmie.
Great interview, safe travels on the Road J.L.V. ,see you in Vacaville 🏟️
I was working in a shop in Austin when it came over the radio that Stevie was killed. A few of the guys cried.
I was in Dallas on my way to the airport to return to Houston. I went ballistic.
I saw Jimmy and the Fabulous Thunderbirds at the Doheny Blues Festival twenty- something years ago. It was such a great show.
The Best and love Jimmie V.
Fabulous Interview with one of the Blues Legends of all time !! Thanks Adam BRAVO !!!!
Jimmy Vaughn is great

Boy, this Jimmie Vaughn’s a real firecracker!
I think Jimmie is starting to struggle with Alzheimer's, because Adam would say something and all of sudden Jimmie remembered it clearly
@@davroc46N2 If that’s the case, what a drag.
Yeah, but it's important to listen, and keep reminding them of those stories, if you run into that situation with a loved one, Every time Adam mentioned the documentary, it jogged Jimmie's memories
I think Jimmie Vaughn is awesome. He got to know a lot of the greatest "Bluesman", of all time.
Vaughan!
Good lord, didn't know he was in the TBirds, didn't know Stevie played in Let's Dance.
Come on man.
my unlce steve use to play bass with jimmy and the fabulous thunderbirds... jimmy jams!
Jimmie Vaughn is a bonafied Texas legend! Amazing guitar player!
The fact that Jimmie can play lead and rhythm at the same time and then sing at the same time. That’s what makes him the best.
Great Interview!
Jim and Steve, true legends 🤘
37:00 Stevie's management company owned a race track, Manor Downs outside of Austin, which could explain the horse.
Chesley Millikien

Yup.
There were several jump cuts before, after, and during that. Man was he pissing off the tube.
There's a Star Trek vibe to Adam's outfit
Oh man. Now I see it. Lol. He does look like a member of security. One take for us old guys.
How the eff did you not know Jimmie was in the Fabulous Thunderbirds????
exactly
Just one of many times during this terrible interview that Adam Corolla was discovered with his pants down. But the worst part was his uncanny tendency to dwell on all the wrong areas and neglect the most significant aspects.
Great Bluesman.
Legendary
I’m really gonna dig this

That Vivino interview of Jimmie Vaughn is outstanding. A real lesson!
Adam Carolla is a terrible interviewer. He goes off on tangents that no one cares about rather than focusing on his guest.
Get it on!
Got to get it on!
No choice but get it on!
Mandate: Get it on!
Thanks for tuning in.
Thanks for telling a friend.
We love that about you!
Just saw the rrratings went up! Thank. You. For that!
I love the food lies guy. I'll have to listen
Legend
Thank you for the love Jimmy Vaughan ❤️
Jimmy is so cool and humble. Adam Carolla is such a dick.
My mirror twin used to go by the nickname Von... one of my sisters (fraternal twin) was married to a dude with the last name of Vaughn. Life is fairly Doctor Strange sometimes... Remember when Dr. Strange wore a mask ? Good times.
Surprised they didn't really end up 'talking cars'! Was Adam aware that Jimmy is actually a Classic Car collector??
Yeah Adam didn’t do his homework.
I'd guess no. The fool didn't even know JLV was in the Thunderbirds.
Nobody who mastered a musical instrument was bored learning to play. Obsessed is the opposite of boredom.
I love Jimmie. He’s awesome. Adam, your interviewing skills need work pal. Jesus, Adam Corolla is insufferable!
Great to see Brian Sanders, been following him for years. Now go eat a steak!
Stevie Ray was in my homeroom class in 8th and 9th grade at Stockard. Salutations!!
That's pretty cool.
I went to L.V. Stockard to. SRV was in my little brother’s class. We probably chewed the same dirt in Oak Cliff. Thanks.
My Ex and his brothers grew up with them. Steve, Will and Mike Wills.

Tough interview. Adam does a good job
tough on jimmy
Gets off to a rough start, Jimmie corrects Adam on something he said exactly correctly, that Jimmie is the older brother.
awkward so far, a few minutes in
My dad and my uncle had Alzheimer's, I'm not a expert but, I can see Jimmie is showing early signs 😢
could be,,,,he had 3 heart attacks and open heart surgery....was an addict for about 30 years@@davroc46N2

I hope the host knows that Keith Richards is the guitarist from the Rolling Stones 🙈
Wow S.R.V. died same day as pops😢
YT blocks comments to your channel...big surprise lol. Get it on.
Sorry, but this is a terrible interview imo! More respect for Jimmie!

Two things that suck Jimmy and Fantasy Football!
Jimmie thinks Taylor Swift is some dude. I'm jealous.
corolla and the loppsided fat kids blues band
"Jimmy Buffet had one song"...lol...Adam in this case you have NO idea what youre talking about.
Man that is one boring guest
Brad probably wears a diaper or something embarrassing
Adam could have done this show by himself. 2 guests that can't communicate
What a dud of a guest. And Aceman, who claims to be a music expert of sorts, didnt know he was the frontman of the Fabulous Thunderbirds?
Shows how much of a wanna be musician Chris is
He is a musician

I was definitely surprised at that playing. I don't think he's ever been big on interviews though
I love Jimmy but he ain't no Stevie, Jimmy just blues and jazz, he ain't gonna light up a Guitar Center and make everyone look, but he a good man ❤
Awful as a guest
I think Jimmie isn’t with it now a days.
He’s 73 years old and still rocking with nothing to prove. Let’s see how well you’re doing at 73..
