Hi I'm Chris a mechanic from cheap bikes r us and have been working there for 6 years i am the head mechanic and am responsible for all the PDI's and test rides I have prepared over 3000 Chinese motorbikes from 50cc to 310cc and all things in between there isn't a lot i don't know about these bikes so I decided to create this channel to share it so whether your looking for specs test rides or help with technical stuff I'm here to help so I'm new at this youtube stuff and I will make some mistakes so hit that subscribe button so we can go through this process together.

This is not an rgv that has a v2 engine. This is the last edition of the rg 250 gamma mk3 with an exhaust valve that gave it 50 hp. The first 2 had 45 hp. Have all 3😊

same as all 2 stroke make sure the oil system is working correctly that is the main thing i am by no means a 2 stroke expert

130mph no way dude ,they are 38 -45hp the kr1 was the first production 250 to crack 130mph
I’ve had an rg and have a kr1
That is what the spec stated this was the first one i ever ridden
About 110mph
@monktontrimble763 pretty sure you can put a 125 engine in rg80, they do 90mph
@monktontrimble763 is it maybe poss bottom ends/crank cases r the same? So 125 top end and 125 crank cases 2 register??

@@RidingreviewsI bought one of these mk3's brand new from my local Suzuki dealer. It was 1989. Officially 1989 was the start of the mk4's. But they had one mk3 left in their warehouse. I preferred the mk3 colour scheme. Which is why I bought the mk3. Also they let me have it for £300 less because although brand new it was a previous model. I was 19 years old and on good wages. I payed cash down. The price it cost me was £2249 with the discount. I can assure you that 116mph was max.
130mph? You wish! I had one, book speed I think was 118mph, I blew mine up back in the day, but yes cool bike.............. sold it for £500 in 2003! Now they're going for a kidney!
I JUST READ THE SPEC I ONLY RODE THIS ONECE AND IT WASNT SETUP CORRECTLY I BELEVE THIS SOLD FOR AROUND £4000
116 mph tops as I had 2 back in the day !

Hi from South Australia! I had a MK 3 version that had the power valve engine although it wouldn’t hit 130 mph, it could hit 185-190 kmh which is about 114-118mph it was slightly modified but for an 80s bike it was pretty decent, thanks for the video!
Can I ask does reg end in GMC?
I am sorry i carnt remember the reg it wasnt my bike
I had one in 2013 was C summit ended in GMC love to own it again
My cousin own a rgv 120 but I own a txr 150 (but parts are hard to find)
There getting a bit old now but the value sjould be going up
