I know why you were taking damage at 11:16. It's a bit complicated but in the end, it should all make sense. So as you would expect, the game has its own physics, so you take fall damage. And during the earthquake, those pieces that probably fell off of the wall were vibrating up and down fast. Because you were on top of them, the panels were jumping up and hitting your feet over and over again. This caused the game to think you were falling and deal damage.
Fall damage is inherently not a built-in Roblox feature, it’s calculated with the vertical velocity of your character as it changes from the “falling” state, to the “stationary” state, and not the velocity of objects relative to a character. It would mean that either, the pieces being flung are compounding the velocity of your own character, triggering the fall damage script, or they have a damage script added to them when they are dislodged in an earthquake.
The sandstorm is a bit inaccurate in the game- I experienced tons of sandstorms in my life, usually they throw objects that don’t have lots of weight (I’ve seen bushes roll through the ground, probably tumbleweed though) and usually they’re not very strong to make a building fly, They range from a yellow colour to a brown colour that look like feces. Sandstorms happen in areas where there’s lots of sands, basically happens in lifeless deserts, earning their name “sandstorm” because they’re a storm occurring in deserts.
