She was always real. I met her at Howard when she was going to meet Ananda at the video shoot for Shai's song, Baby I'm Yours. A man rolled up on her in a Porshe, flashing money with a bunch of jewelry on and she rejected him. I was in a Ford Tempo rental in the back seat and I asked her why she treated him like a booger to which she laughed and replied, he's too old and flashy. I respected that because all of the women were chasing after the hustlers in DC at that time. We exchanged info and hung out a couple of times in Georgetown with her friends and my boys then I went back to New York and she to eventually back to Cali. We spoke a few times after that just to say hello and then lost touch. She was and still is one of the coolest people you can meet, never wanted anything from anyone, just pushing to make a way for herself in the industry.
Great couple. Seen them in person once together many years ago.
