Just what I was looking to do! Brilliant instructions. No annoying music, just a knowledgeable voice and clear instructions. You have earned “a cup of coffee” and then some. Thank you, Anna!
Anna, Thank you for this fantastic video featuring Premier Minikins which launch and are available today for the first time. Your dishcloths are perfect and practical especially at this time of Spring cleaning!!! We love the way these work up on the machine!!! Keep bringing more love and joy into our beautiful world through the wonderful works of art you create with yarn!!!
Thank you, your demo it is brilliant, I hope to do some when I get the yarn. And great to see how the yarn runs from the centre of the ball. Pity the yarn manufacturer's don't put a pull tab on the yarn when they are winding it, even a piece of contrast colour would help. Here's hoping it might happen . Senior citizon call me crafty.!!
Thanks so much Anna finally succeeded in making a presentable dishcloth - appreciate your clear instructions. I had a lot of trouble with the cast off tho, and am now happy with the cast off where you transfer the first stitch to the second and knit it off - it is much neater and MUCH easier for me. 😂. Definitely worth buying you a cup off coffee, off to do that now, thank you!
I stumbled onto this video and I think you convinced me to research these machines. Thank you for taking the time to explain the inner working of the project, you make it seem easy but I am sure it all comes with some patience and time!
Yes, there is a learning curve but if you start with inexpensive yarn learning a few techniques you can progress to a beginner's project fairly quickly. I would suggest an easy hat like this one: ua-cam.com/video/OFHkvMT1c5w/v-deo.html Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Itbis very encouraging. I am having trouble with loops hanging. The tension is OK. Could you tell me what and why this is happening. Thank you so much
It's hard to say for sure but your yarn is probably too slack after you change colors. Either pull it back from behind the tension discs or hold it up when you start to knit until you feel it catch.
Your tutorials are so detailed and easy to follow. If it wasn’t for you i would never make anything with my machine lol. Would you please make one for making a sweater or a shirt? Thanks!
@@AnnaHaferman ok, thank you anyway! Your channel is great. I am the original owner of a Brother KX Hobby Knitter (and 3 other assorted gauge knitters (Singer, Brother, Mini Empisal) and a master of none!) Complicated and confounding machinery! Therefore I quilt! 🤣! I still watch your videos! Likes/sub and thanks.
Thank u for showing small items. My machine sits in the room because the only thing I have seen is big projects. I’m ordering the yarn. In the mean time do u think any regular dishcloth cotton will be ok?
If it is the right weight, it should work. I find that some of the dishcloth yarns are stiff and hard to work with on the machine, though, so do a small sample to see how it goes!
Start in the middle of the dial and if the yarn feels tight while you are knitting, loosen it and vice versa. It’s not necessarily the same setting as the carriage.
Anna, can I ask you a question? The comb you hang on the first row seems to have an identical number of teeth, compared to your bed. Should this always be the case? I got a KH 260 but the number of teeth on the comb that came with it is larger, so they are closer together and do not fit that easy to the stitches on the bed. I can still complain with my seller now…
The 260 originally came with a standard gauge comb, so when you line it up you should have two hooks per stitch. The bulky is 9 mm gauge and stand gauge is 4.5 gauge. It sounds like you got the right comb but I can’t be sure without seeing what it looks like.
Personal preference because it's an extra step. You can use it if you prefer. I use ravel cord if the yarn I am using is delicate or fuzzy. Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much Rosalind! Your kind words really mean a lot to me!
I was looking into getting a knitting machine. I just stopped by to see if something so small could be done. I’m impressed and I can’t wait to cast on
My m-i-l loves dishcloths. Way faster this way than be hand. She thanks you, even if she doesn’t know it.
Thanks! They make a great little gift!
😅😅
Beautiful cat.
Thanks!
Love your videos so much. You make it so easy to follow along ❤

What a great idea for a little housekeeper
Thanks for watching!
I like that you think and count out loud. I like that you show close ups and verbalize critical steps.
Thanks! I’m glad it helps. I think I do it so I don’t get confused.
A great pattern and a cat! 😻💗
That is my beautiful Claudine who loves to be in the middle of things. Thanks for watching!
Brilliant pattern and easy to follow instructions, thank you Anna 😊
Thanks Meg!
Thanks for the really attractive stitch pattern; it will be useful for many items.
Thanks Bonnie!

What a lovely video. Thank you.
Really cool. Thank you. Little less sure of your sewn bind off. I'll have to watch that again in slo-mo.
Thanks! Let me know how it goes!
I like this very much! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
LOVE THIS! I'm new to machine knitting so this is a very helpful way to learn! Ive made six now! i'm a pro lol
That’s great! They make great gifts!
Definitely going to try this! 😊

Eventually I will do one. Sweaters are more involved so it might have to be in installments. Thanks for watching!
I’ve got a lot of hemp/ linen yarns leftover that would make it antibacterial as well
Great idea!
This is a great project, thank you, does that (tuck?) stitch have a name? Thanks
If it does have a name, I don't know what it is.

Just got my lk150 in the mail today! Does the tension mast settings have the same number as the carriage? How do you know what to set it on?
Start in the middle of the dial and if the yarn feels tight while you are knitting, loosen it and vice versa. It’s not necessarily the same setting as the carriage.
I'm knitting with weight 4. What tension do you usually use for that? It's so tight for me
@@aymonharris5783 #4 yarns are often too thick for the LK150. Get some #3 yarn and it will be a lot easier.

Why did you not use ravel cord?
I usually don't use ravel cord but you could definitely use it for this.
Where do I find thanks or coffee link?
The coffee link is in the description. The Super Thanks is a button under the video itself. Thanks for asking!!!
Is there a written pattern available?
I have my patterns written out for channel members. It's the same info as in the video; just in written form.
Why don’t you use a ravel cord?
Personal preference because it's an extra step. You can use it if you prefer. I use ravel cord if the yarn I am using is delicate or fuzzy.
Thanks for watching!
She is using a smooth cotton or cotton-type yarn as waste yarn and so she treats the final row of the waste yarn as a ravel cord.
Do you know of anyone that makes these for sale? I'm looking for product for a shop.
Can you email me at annahaferman@gmail.com?
Cast off looks a bit difficult. I’ll need to take my Time
You can do it! Let me know how it goes!
I'm find the cast off really hard! Would it be better to do the last row at a higher tension, so I can find the loop easier I wonder?
Thanks!
Thanks Karalyn!
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!!
