Billy is one of the greatest story tellers of all time. He often goes off on a tangent and has you laughing before the end. You must do his Colonoscopy story.
I know people who have seen Billy live and then insist that they would never go back to see him again, because it was physically painful from the amount of laughing they did. He's also never done the same show twice, he doesn't work from a script and just extemporises every time he's on stage.
I've seen that a hundred times and I am on the floor everytime crying and finding it hard to breathe. The way he says 'and she took off'....I'm laughing now thinking about it
I saw Billy at Harrogate Convention Centre in the early 80s and at one point, I had to put my fingers in my ears so that I couldn’t hear him. I was laughing so much that my stomach and chest were really hurting.
Billy is great, he's more of a story teller than an out and out comedian. You watch any of his shows and within minutes you are almost physically crying. What makes it even funnier is you can see he's loving every second, knows what he's going to say, and still laughs.
Billy or "The Big yin" as us Scottish call him has been around since the seventies and is famous worldwide. The guy is hilarious and my Dad said he went to school with him which me and my brother didn't believe. My Da like many older Scottish guys did a fair bit of bullshitting when telling stories. And one day me & my Da were in The Smiddy bar in an area of Glasgow called Partick when who walks in but Billy Connolly himself. He ordered a drink, recognised my Da and greeted him. I got introduced with my mouth wide open and the look on my Da's face when Billy sat at a table to read his newspaper was priceless. A kinda "fawking told you so" look on his face, grinning like a Cheshire cat.😂
His Zebra being attact on the Savana is so funny you will never forget it. Years ago he did An Audiance With Billy Connoly, his Queen on a horse doing Trooping the Colour new national anthem is amazing. He never fales and with Judy Dench did some amazing film accting.
Billy is one of Britain's greatest comedians and actors. He started off in the shipyards in Glasgow as an apprentice welder and he ended up being Knighted as Sir Billy Connolly by Queen. Elizabeth. He has acted in serious films alongside the likes of Dame Judy Dench as well as Tom Cruise.
The "windswept and interesting" Sir Billy Connolly. Sadly very ill with Parkinsonism now, but in his heyday he could leave me thinking I would need an ambulance because I couldn't breathe for laughing. Enjoy exploring the many decades of Billy Connolly performances, you two.
Young man, get that lovely lady insured because if you are going down the Billy rabbit hole, she is going to burst laughing at some point,. Seriously, love you two, keep 'em coming, and enjoy Billy, he is one of the best ever.
Very funny guy, who was huge in his day, and not a bad actor too. My favourite being his surprisingly touching role of being a servant to Queen Victoria whilst she was in mourning, who was played by Judy Dench, in the film Mr Brown.
Welcome to SIR Billy Connolly. Scotlands greatest comedy legend. Since retired due to his Parkinson's,but regarded as a National Treasure.here in all of the UK
Favourite short Billy joke. I met this guy the other day, he had a huge dog. He said "he can smell fear". I said "I'm not surprised, I just shit myself".
I think I first saw him in Muppet Treasure Island when I was 11 or 12. Much later I found out he was a sort of stand-up god since the mid-70’s. He is now my absolute hero of comedy. There’s so much gold on UA-cam. I highly recommend ”Old lady on the bus” and ”Worst pain known to man”. I like you two. Keep it up!
Billy is a national hero. From childhood in Glasgow, to shipyard welder and boilermaker, to Army Reserve Paratrooper, to banjo player and folk singer. He transitioned from singing songs and telling funny stories in between to full stand up comedy. Made some incredible TV travel series , been in a wide range of movies and created some very surreal art.
Billy (now Sir Billy, and deservedly so) is basically God in my native Scotland. Most people focus on the later stuff, but Billy Connolly Bites Yer Bum is a classic. Ditto Billy and Albert, An Audience with Billy Connolly and The Pick of Billy Connolly.
He starts telling u a story and completely veers off it but he always gets back the story he started with,he’s a genius ,im so glad he belongs to us 👍🏼🏴
Just seen your Freddy Starr one. There was an interview Parkinson’s Freddy and Mohammad Ali were his guests. Freddie tells him a story and almost gives Ali a heart attack it’s brilliant.
I saw Billy many years ago, when I was 8 months pregnant, and I laughed so hard u thought my waters would break! I think there were a few people around me, who were also a bit worried about sitting too close to me! Amazing guy.
Billy Connolly is a comedy genius. His delivery makes it seems like he is talking to you directly like you would in a bar Check out his Wilderbeast sketch
Billy is one of the finest stand-up comedians that has ever been on stage. He's a story teller of the highest order. He's also a pretty fine actor. He even managed to act opposite Judi Dench and look just as good as her, in Mrs Brown (a film I highly recommend).
Billy Connolly made his name as a superb comedian in the 70's and 80's but he may be more well known by some for his acting career in some major blockbusters. He also had a number of chart songs and more recently in his 80's took up being an artist. An amazingly talented guy.
You mentioned his fashion sense. There was an appearance on stage Billy did in the late 70s early 80s where he came on stage wearing a pair of foam bananas for shoes! 🤭😉 They're now in a case in a Glasgow museum, I think?
I have to explain that Billy tells stories that are funny. I've seen him twice, and wow, I never stopped crying through laughing. He is the original storytelling comedian.❤ old lady on a bus and park my bike and the cardinal visiting his school. So many stories. All hilariously funny.
He’s a gem. Please tack a look at Deacon blue .Sailaway/ Dignity. Live In Glasgow. I know you love crowd participation. You won’t regret seeing this it’s on a par with Wembley live aid.
Guys look all over the net for Billy.. Hes done documentaries and all sorts. His tour of the world on his motorbike is fantastic ..A real honest humble man who oevercame horrendous chidhood abuse to become the UKs fav all time comedian .. He tops polls decade after decade.. His new york stint as a guest of Whoopie Goldberg is comedy gold and the American audience almost died
I love watching you guys reacting to comedy especially Jess's laugh, it's contagious! Billy Connolly is the best, he'll make your sides ache with all the laughing. Another comedian you should take a look at is Lee Evans, different kind of comedian but hilarious too 😂
Billy is legendary , ive been following his comely for 40 years, he has a mountain of comedy standup and movies hes in, he was in the Hobbit aswell as Dain Ironfoot
His wife is Pamela Stephenson, Lady Connolly (born 4 December 1949) she is a New Zealand-born psychologist, writer, actress and comedian. She moved with her family to Australia in 1953 and studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). After playing several stage and television roles, she emigrated to the United Kingdom in 1976. Parts in television shows including Space: 1999, New Avengers, The Professionals and Tales of the Unexpected preceded her breakthrough role in the satirical sketch show Not the Nine O'Clock News (1979-1982) alongside Rowan Atkinson, Mr Bean, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones. Not the Nine O'Clock News might be worth reacting to.
Billy Connolly is one of the greatest of all time. I've been cracked up by his stage performances since I was a child in the 1970s. He should be a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
I'm a Glaswegian but I have to say we have the best humour in the world. I've lived abroad for several years and never heard day to day humour like I had heard in Glasgow.
Billy is the GOAT end of story seriously I made the mistake of listening to him laying down on my bed telling the story of when he had a colonoscopy,I thought I was going to die with laughter,I literally had to fall of my bed to gain some sort of control of my body, you have to see it but be prepared to laugh like never before.🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

I must say I watch your comedy reviews several times for each review. Just because your reaction amuses me so much. I am from the UK so know many of the clips you are reviewing, but you do it the best at it. Just remember UK comedy is just that. Not always true, just relatable.
Billy Connolly and Robin Williams are two of the greatest comedians who also have had great careers in movies. Both brought originality to the stage and screen. Billy's stories on wildebeest, holidays with his family and stories on his life before stand up are hilarious.

I’ve seen Billy live, I’d go back in a heartbeat! I’m a sucker for punishment. 😂
I can relate to that. Saw him at the Pavillion in Glasgow many years ago and my jaw ached for days! Utterly brilliant
I can agree,I saw him live about 30 yrs ago,I can’t remember anything he said but god almighty it was funny 🤣👍🏼🏴
I saw him at the Hammersmith Apollo in the 90's and the bastard nearly killed me.
What did he say... No fucking idea!! 😂
Billy Connolly is a legend, no ifs or buts, I've been watching him forever, he can do no wrong.🤣🫶

His full length 'An Audience With Billy Connolly' is the funniest thing I've ever seen.
An Audience woth Billy Connolly is an absolute treat from start to finish. Need to watch all of it though as so many of his stories meander
Hands down, the best Billy Connolly bit is the one about incontinence pants.
