For those that don't know, both the thrust and smash stances do have the ability to parry. It's a translation error, but the resolute strike is the parry, the Skyfall strike is the attack after a parry. The thrust stance has a similar ability but it's a retreat and then counter. It's optimal to use these to parry, not just use them all the time.
Yeah, I always use thrust parry in the middle of light combo. Triangle brings you out, and if it's perfectly timed, it gives you a free cloud step thrust stance, my favourite

@@Tyrannicon you beat way harder stuff than this. There is only a couple really hard bosses in the game. You can easily beat most pretty easy. I know your skills, i'm watching you for years. Its more like you cant be bothered 😂 and you come back overleveled.
But you could easiliy beat these bosses if you want. And you wont need 20 tries. Way less.
