I like the Mahomes videos. don't listen to the haters
No. He is the greatest of all time skill wise and will run the NFL for the next decade +. It really shows the evolution of football. There was Brady and now him, after him there will be someone better. People are just getting better at football. That’s my theory anyway. But he’s the greatest we’ve seen touch a football.
As long as you have Mahomes and Reid together strip away everything else they will always be contenders.
💯
Old guy here. The Chiefs were definitely vulnerable last year. Their receiving core was not very good as evidenced by all the dropped passes. Their offense took a real nose dive compared to the previous 2 or 3 years. The fact that their defense totally stepped up to the plate and had a very consistent effort was the underlying reason they beat the Ravens and won SB. Just imagine if MaHomes had the receivers of the 49ers.
I believe that Andy Reid is probably the best offensive minded HC in the NFL. Between his schemes and MaHomes ability to make about every throw against whatever the defense dishes out, it should be hard to beat the Chiefs.
Go 3peat!
I was talking with my daughter least night and I said I don't get all the Taylor Swift haters. Her music isn't my cup of tea, but I can appreciate her success and talent. I think it's that same with Mahomes. He is clearly at the top of his game, just like Taylor and seems to get the same hate. Some people just can't appreciate greatness when it's put in front of them. Life is so full of mediocrity. Greatness needs to be celebrated.
He's a Michael Jordan level player but the Chiefs were totally beatable last year. The salary cap does hold them back a bit.
Drops... The Chiefs played mostly night games last year. Drops are about 5% higher when playing under lights. It pretty much statistically negates the 'problem' with the receiver core. The real problem is that quite a few of those drops happened at very bad times - a bit of bad luck.
Stopping him a few plays isn't the same as " stopping" him.
Rashee Rice being suspended will definitely slow the chiefs down. Also, yeah the offense in the AFC Championship game was slowed down but the Ravens never had the ball in the second half with a chance to take the lead or even tie. It really did seem like the chiefs parked the bus in the second half. The Chiefs offense in the first three quarters of the super bowl was suspect though. However in the 4th quarter and OT they were as good as they'd looked all year. Receivers will still be an issue for them in the next year
Especially considering we haven't had a lot of success with drafting great WRs. Hollywood is awesome but he seems pretty the same of what we have already had with hardman, mvs, etc.
@@dylandavis4753Bull, Hollywood is a huge upgrade over those players. And Rice is only going to be suspended for 2 games. And we still have the draft.
Mahomes was stopped by numerous teams throughout the 2023 season. The offense limped through nearly every single game. They were lucky to go 11 - 6. Even in the playoffs, without their D, they wouldn't have gone past the divisional round.
The Chiefs' offense, as Jackson pointed out, did struggle last season. Their defense will probably be worse without their top corner, and their receiving corps will probably be better.
In the playoffs though, they tend to be more dangerous, when Mahomes has the green light to run more -- effectively like having a power play -- and will have four downs to work with in crunch time.
In my opinion, the best way to beat him is to have the ball last and score with no time left: easier said than done.
The Chiefs are like the Borg from Star Trek TNG...they learn and adapt
"Resistance is futile..."😅
They can be stopped for sure. Last year proved that. What is really happening with Mahomes is that you can't give him the ball with a chance to win at the end of playoff games. He is probably going to win those. Same thing happened with Tom Brady. He did not always have the most talent, especially in the 2010s, but his teams were always good enough that if they kept it close, Brady would win it someway, somehow. When nerves are at their highest, the schemes take a backseat and the winner is the one who can see the opportunity manifest and take it. Right now, there is no one who can do that better than Mahomes. The Ravens and 49ers games especially were proofs of that. The second half offenses were stalled completely, yet when the throws needed to be made to seal, tie, or win the game at the end, Mahomes made the plays that needed to be made. He has been compared to Steve Young, Aaron Rogers, and Dan Marino. However, I believe his closest comparison is Tom Brady, only designed in a lab to have all the gifts of the other immensely talented QBs mentioned before.
Yes
I’m convinced that the chiefs are a wr core and defensive end away from going 20-0 😂
Frisco would have beaten KC except for those two turnovers in the 1st half.
Mahomes and KC got super lucky on the second turnover.
sadly teams don't play perfect against great defenses
So the 49ers lost because they made more mistakes. That’s called losing a football game lmao
Did KC get “super lucky” beating Miami, Buffalo and Baltimore?
@@ce-750pilot3if zay flowers didn’t forget he’s playing in an nfl playoff game not backyard recess the ravens win that game
@@ce-750pilot3Miami was a definite win, Buffalo and Baltimore were both metltdowns of epic proportions by both teams.
Main takeaway: Play solid man coverage against Pat's receivers
Problem is Pat will never have a WR core as bad as he just had
😂😂 wait till the jets destroy the chiefs in arrowhead in January
@@piggy8761 try to win ur division first bud
@@LucaMVP lmao they’re gonna do that then knock your ass out this ain’t gonna be the shitty bills who get injured every year where josh Allen has to carry that franchise. You’ll see a new face in the playoffs and you ain’t gonna like it GL
@@piggy8761 Dolphins and Bills own u guys
@@LucaMVP Dolphins got noticeably weaker, bills are old news
It’s time Rodgers reminds everyone that he’s a hall of fame QB with the best defense in the league
The bengals in the 2nd half of that afc championship game where the bengals went to the super bowl is how you stop mahomes. I've never seen mahomes so hesitant to throw the ball despite having all day to throw.
that was more of mahomes choking
They were dropping 8 in coverage he’s never seen it before at the time so it spooked him. He said it himself that he chocked
That was just your typical andy reid chokejob vs what the bengals actually did. That was also 3 nfl seasons ago. Nobody has stopped them since
LMAO the RAIDERSSSSSSS DID IN ARROWHEAD on Christmas day
RN4L
Yep and that was their Super Bowl! 😂 We out here chasing real rings 💍💍💍💍
@jordanjohansenmusic Raider fans forget AP, and the Raiders lost in Vegas 31-17. They were up on the Chiefs 14-0 and the Chiefs came back and won.
The New York jets will stop him
Yes.
The Chiefs won the Super Bowl but it was more due to the 49ers beating themselves than the Chiefs beating them.
In 4 quarters of regulation the Chiefs only scored 4 field goals.
It took a punt hitting a 49ers foot and a failure to recover the punted fumble football for the Chiefs to get close to the goal to score their ONLY touchdown in regulation. Without the 49ers punt mistake the Chiefs would not have scored a single touchdown in regulation.
Patrick Mahomes only threw 8 out of 34 passes over 5 yards. He threw 9 passes behind the line of scrimmage. He only threw 2 completed passes over 15 yards. The game winning touchdown in OT was a 5 yard pass. It was the only touchdown the Chiefs got on their own the entire Super Bowl.
Yes, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs can be beaten. It's teams not beating themselves that's the issue.
Just ask the Ravens and the 49ers. Two teams that played better than the Chiefs and should have beaten them but instead, beat themselves.
So basically you saying to beat them teams have to play perfect that’s damn near impossible
This long ass paragraph really sums up the casuals watching football. The chiefs are usually the more disciplined team in the playoffs so get over it you smoothbrain
So the team that made less mistakes won?
Too bad you can’t have 2 Aaron Donald’s and 2 TJ Watts on the defensive line 🤷🏻♂️
See now if Chiefs had a semi competitive division, then there's a case that they can be stopped. But when the best the AFC has to offer is the Ravens, only team beating them is from the NFC.
they played all the best teams in the playoffs didn't they
They literally beat the best teams in the league to win the sb and have the best win percentage outside of their division of any team since 2018. Are you dumb?
You don’t beat Mahomes. You let his team do it for you.
Raiders damn near swiped KC with a rookie quarterback and HC .We the last team to stop him but we didn’t make the playoffs so nobody cares 🤷🏾♂️
1 more mahomes video and I'll be able to bust
Texans will beat them 😊
Lol.
@@billquantrill4960 source: CJ Stroud won 7 super bowls in my madden franchise
@@Polyvalent Well played.
Only by Tom Brady and his defense
That wouldn't be possible as he's already retired genius. So no, there's no one.
Not in this modern day weak teams, no, combined with the difficulty of playimg defense, and maholmes being the face if the league, and taylor swift being tied to the chiefs and bring in millions of new casual viewers, chiefs will be the first to 4-peat
So instead of talking about the chiefs elite coaching staff, tough discipline in the playoffs, stars at key positions, and the best player in the NFL, you spew out this conspiracy theory drizzle.
@@kev792 It's all they have
@@kev792 to be fair, it was a mix of memes and a jab on how bad players development is in the league, so many qbs are being thrown to the wolves, while it took patient and effort to develop effectove qbs like maholmes, plus kudos to the chief front office, they built the perfect team around maholmes, so im not suprised to see the chief wnning 2 more
@@georgepatton93 fair enough
@@georgepatton93Lol, what perfect team? The one that had no wide receivers who could catch for 2/3 of last year? The team has been different every year, just like all NFL teams. Also spell the man’s name right, it’s in the title of the video
will the cringe mahomes content stop
Lol
Yeah why would anyone want to watch the best football player? Cry more hater
@@dylandavis4753 damn that glaze taste good huh?
@@MidwestRaiderThowhere did he lie?😂
Never stop 😂 keep these babies crying
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs can be stopped if they relocate outside of Kansas City and maybe even get a new team name based off what’s going on with the new stadium and tax voting scenario right now 😂
lease expires in like 6 years if they dont put up at least 1 more vote itll be shocking
@@PolyvalentThe 49ers mistakes had nothing to do with the Chiefs defense. It had to do with a lack of situational awareness allowing a punt to hit you while you're busy blocking.
It has to do with failing to perform the fundamentals of fumble recovery by going for the big play.
It has to do with a backup O-Line man deciding to "play on instinct" instead of following his blocking assignment, Chris Jones. This caused Brock Purdy to free rushed and blew up the touchdown play in OT to Jauan Jennings.
The 49ers beat themselves.
@@BeingButterfly you're telling me the 9ers choked against the chiefs in the big one twice thats crazy
