I had horrible nose bleed seats here lol. Way up behind the top right corner of the huge ass stage. Couldn’t see the “superstars” until they got ringside. But what an experience. Back before Wrestlemania was a 2 night lump of shit
@@Rschr101 not at all,19 was one of the best. 20 was good. 21 is one of the most important ever because it marked the passing of the torch 22-24 were great also. Don’t remember much after that I think 25 was ok
Since 2008 it's been awful to me. It was still decent during the early to mid 2000's. It went PG from 08 and they kept ramming Cena down our throats who has been lame since he dropped the rapper gimmick.
Sometimes I think the negative feedback hurts JR but I am here to say announce forever, to hell with the critics that either don’t know or don’t care that your voice is wrestling but us true wrestling fans love you and support you no matter what
Aside from Austin, mick n cowboy and Heyman. If the person asked " j.r. living or not who would you have liked to induct you into the HOF. " I picture him saying John Wayne
Man, listening to JR talk about Steve wrestle again at Wrestlemania gave me chills. Wish the Voice of Wrestling was on the call this weekend but I’ll be smiling with him watching THE Texas Rattlesnake stomp some mudholes in asses and walk them dry!
The Big Show couldn't put Hogan over at Wrestlemania 23 but he did still do the same thing on a smaller scale at a Memphis show that same time frame. As many times as Show has flip flopped being a heel & good guy & as many times as he went from being a monster to a comedy act, I'd take the Wrestlemania payoff over the Memphis payoff who cares if he won or lost? But it wouldn't have been the biggest thing on this show anyway
Just had to bring politics into it... I'm turning the podcast off when I hear you Jim say he wasn't a fan of Trump's presidency. Let me guess you like sleepy Joe? Let's go to brandon!
Yeah I never understood why JR was against trump like he was. Crazy. So many good things happened when he was president. Surely he doesn't think Biden is doing better
Shad? Charmel? Not hating on either one of the two but can anyone honestly say that they deserve to be in the Hall of Fame or is this more political wokeness?
he wasnt put in the hall of fame he recieved the ultimate warrior award for risking his life to save his sons life . There’s many ppl not to deserving of the hall of fame in wwe but almost any and everybody makes it so why is Charmel making it a problem ? She was technically the manager of a Worlds Heavyweight Champ

Wrestlemania 23 was my favourite of them all. Top to bottom the card was set. Every match was good. Especially all the title matches.
I'm 35 and no longer a wrestling fan but still tune in to listen the the legendary good ol JR!!!
JR, and we love you and always will!!
Voice of wrestling, voice of my childhood.. JR on the mount rushmore of wrestling in my books.
Hogan rock stone cold Jr
And we still love u JR, u r the 🐐
a very underrated wrestlemania!
Great episode. For some reason I always remember Cena/Michaels and the battle of the Billionaires. I'm going to have to check out Taker/Batista.
Another WM with another hbk classic.
Stone Cold Steve Austin did a stunner on the future president of the United States
Stone cold selling that Samoan spike was whew!
Man, you can see Jim get visibly emotional as he watches that video package.

Let's be real, wrestlemania and wrestling in general has been a lump of shit since 2002.

The best manias was in the 2000s . 17-23 were great
Amazing experience, being in Ford Field that night. It’s a slept-on Mania, considering all the things it does right

Id like to hear 1 of these on wm 24 wanna hear what JR and Connie got to say about kane and chavos 8 second match and the whole card
Florida native here and want to know what having Wrestlemania outside for the first after Wrestlemania 9. Why Orlando, and not Miami or Tampa Bay.
Steiner brothers are goin in
Nope
JR pounding the cigarette and coffee lol
My man, lol.
jr needs a better headset and/or an actual mic like everyone else does lol
His mic always sucks ass and makes popping and clocking noises it's horrible. He's a millionaire and can't order a decent mic smh
@@davidsobilo9622 hes cheep thats why he has so much money saved up
@@TheSweetestScience Sadly that is the right way to live.

I liked hearing that Ernie Ladd story from Jim Ross…..
I was there and what an historic night it was...sat in Sec. 330
Rest In Peace Ernie Ladd
You guys looking at that big scary number yet?
So interesting hearing this nowadays with the Vince retirement/Trump relationship at that time/post-Vince WWE
I'm pleased we never got Cena vs triple h again I really didn't enjoy their match at WrestleMania 22 Cena vs Shawn Michaels was far better

did this guy finish smoking a cigarette and then spark one immediately after? hahahaha
supurb excellence.
Morning boys

Waddya know, 2 fans of teams that suck in basketball, don’t like basketball. Shocking!!!
This isn't any competition. This game looks terrible, just a copy of what's already out there and being done better already.

OMG!

Agreed.
when did they do that??
Who cares? Your tune would be different if he talked politics by praising him.
I personally think both Trump and Biden have sucked. FYI we are not in a war on Ukraine, if we were US troops would there
No one wants to hear your political preferences. I mainly use this show to go to sleep anyway
Stone Cold Steve Austin is not the most popular wrestler in WWF history. That's Hulk Hogan brotherr!
Shad? Charmel? Not hating on either one of the two but can anyone honestly say that they deserve to be in the Hall of Fame or is this more political wokeness?
Shad is getting the warrior award for sacrificing his own life to save his son from drowning, you fucking idiot
Yeah I'm a little confused why sharmel would go in...Definitely think we're trying to appease certain people with that one
Seriously you question Shad. He was put in as a hero, not cuz of his wrestling career
