Castle age hold vs ACCM was amazing. Of course, ACCM is one of the best players in the world and he beats Hera, Viper regularly, but it's great that you held on for so long along with using the easy build. GG WP.
When I started playing DE I'd never played a single competitive match of AOE2. With your help, I today reached an all time high of 1883. Thank you so much for the incredible content you make! I honestly think your coaching and tutorial videos are second none.
Similar experience for me. I dropped to a low of 850elo when I started playing in 2021 (which would be like 500elo level today). And over the last couple years I've climbed to 1500 by learning from Survivalist
I forgot about part two stream on Tuesday! Please tell me there's another comprehensive video like this one. In one week this got me consistently about 50-100 elo higher. Can't wait for part 2!
@@SurvivalistAoE OK, I'm just not getting it yet. Picked up the game last week. The state of mmo's and shooters with cheaters and bots has pushed me into revisiting genres that I don't typically play and there's a lot to wrap my head around.
@HalcyonDaze33 yeah RTS is super complicated. It's important to understand that if you have 4 guys and your opponent has 5 guys, you will lose the fight. If you spent extra resources walling and your opponent made 1 more unit instead, this can lead to a bad fight and they will snowball their advantage

We need more such videos, also countering archers rush. Or in general how to defend against a feudal rush. Gameplay would be helpful.

@@Spanzo12 Need to practice vs AI to get the opening down. Walls before reaching feudal is really important.

I don't understand the advantage of walling to woodlines. It seems like you aren't saving much wood from making a more regular shape with the walls.
It also restricts enemy movement
