I totally agree. I've seen some great music since 95, but no other guitarist could bring me to tears until I heard Rick. Jerry could make the guitar sound like it was crying and Rick does it just as well, or I dare say even better. I can't even imagine how he's going to sound in 5 years. I first saw the Dead in 83 and couldn't wait to graduate high school in 84, so t could do a whole tour. After Brent died, it was never the same for me. I pretty much stopped seeing the Dead and only did Jerry tour. So happy to have found Goose. It's been so long since I've experienced the pure bliss.
Reminds me of a The Band song a bit. I was at this show, wasn't familiar with it, and was sure they were covering The Band. Love that it's one of theirs (vasudo)
