Is it ok to say that I almost cried? Makes me extremely upset how some of the best memories from the best players I've watched in competitive LOL will never be repeated. This game's gone a long way, god damn man, god damn. Can't describe this feeling, if you're feeling it as well, you know what I mean.
Fuck it's not even almost for me. So many games I've personally seen and so much nostalgia. Like when Zion won game 1 just this weekend. I just broke down with tears. There's no difference between fans of any competition. It can be so heart wrenchingly emotional at times.

***** You know how I feel man, ahhh, I've been a Curse fan ever since the end of season 2, I've been fully supporting them, win or lose. And to be honest, nothing can describe the amount of happiness I got seeing them sweep CLG, you don't know how long I've been waiting for that to happen. This game has done so much for so many, fans and pros, hope this will keep going on.
The Kassadin backdoor was the best backdoor i have ever seen... and in a competition too. Truly theb est moment in League.

As bad as the League community can be, its moments like these that make me love this game. The support that people give the teams and the clear enthusiasm and happiness the crowd exclaims when something big happens gives me chills. And good chills of course. No matter how many times I watch the peke backdoor, I always get goosebumps and get buzzed over it, one of the best games I ever watched.
So many amazing plays that put me right back into the seats that I watched them in. Not gonna lie, a few of these brought tears to my eyes.
This just made me miss Deman and Joe even more :(

Every single one of these sends shivers down my spine and brings a tear to my eye, the nostalgia is real.
Would love to see M5's domination of Dignitas at... was it IEM katowice? Where they put urgot 1v2 bot lane with blue buff and had alistar roam mid with their jungle to camp scarra's morde. That was incredible.
I still remember that back when I was 600 elo and we pulled that strat so me and my support farmed and roamed my jungle instead of theirs , oh the memories of my wriggles skarner xD

the backdoor from xpeke and the faker zed outplay is the two greatest moments and will be that forever. It cant be overdone.

That was beautiful to watch. The MLG CLG Vs. TSM ending still gives me shivers, especially with that crowd.
I want to point on a very important thing about all these plays and why many players (not ones in the video but players in general) fall of, and then many end up retiring...a lot of older players that were absolutely amazing some years ago, just stopped taking risks and gambling when they are in a do or die scenario...my favorite example of all time is Snoopehs flash with cho gath to get the kill and life steal of it (that was the most clutch split second decision in league of legends competitive history) and of course xpekes backdoor attempt (and success)...what we tend to see a lot from players who are considered past their prime is they just tend to stick with methodical play from experience, instead of taking high risk high reward plays...and i know a lot of people might think the safer option is better overall, and that's true, but it's the other one that really defines the iconic players and separates them from the rest...

I think what makes some of these moments so great is the sounds you hear from the audience... Man when Rapidstar almost got that instant penta with Karthus ult... The moment he pressed that button EVERYONE saw it happen and you could just hear the audience and maybe even everyone at home explode. S2 worlds will always be my favourite :)
Shiphter's ahri plays to kill the nexus were better than zionspartan's nasus play.
I agree completely. However, that play was in a minor match and zion's was during playoffs, so maybe that's why its considered more important.
The shiphter play was way more hyped though, seemed more epic, and also some of the other plays in this video were in minor matches as well.
ahri just killed the nexus, zion killed everything on botlane, including the 2 towers on lane, in that single push.
i saw the nasus play live. it was nuts!

I don't think the order of the clips matter. The person who made the video just compiled 20 of some of the best LoL clips in competeitve history. I do agree with you, very NA/EU based though.

I have been watching lol for 3 years. The Korean scene has just as much backstory as NA and EU. They're plays would take up the top 100 spots. I'm just saying that this video was very much biased towards eu/na
Feel like you're putting Koreans on a pedestal, searching 'ogn' plays and the like yields about 700 insec kicks and little else. Madlife thresh and faker's Zed were enough in this video imo. Other than Dandy kick and Cpt Jack anti cc, if you know of any other Korean plays, feel free to tell me and I'll consider them for another video.

Alonso Castañón on 0 ping lan servers, i dont find that impressive really. not top 20, nor top 100 even. the zed vs zed and how it was a blind pick and it was 2-2 winner wins OGN and faker outplays now that would be a top 20 play. not a flay lol
It's because it was the first time that the scene has seen flay do that. Thresh was still a new champ, and it was just when people were starting to learn how to play him. The flay backwards to counter another champions spell was a pretty new concept. And xpecial was the first to do it in NA, on a offline big event.

And also include the lastest IEM season performances: the double base race in Cologne and Kikis' jungle TF in San Jose. We need an updated version of dis.

CLG.EU made plays that will be remembered through history of League. They were a fuking great team that brought so much innovation and was one of the rare teams from NA and EU that could pair with Koreans and China. Shame that they fell apart :(
