What a trooper she was. I was stationed in Oklahoma and had orders to a school in Charleston SC. A friend I worked with also had to go to same school. He was from Wa State and had never been east of Mississippi River. I asked he wanted to ride the scoot, he said sure. I had a Suzuki GS 1100 trimmed out with fairing etc. His eyes were as big a saucers at some of the sites. It is great to take someone on that experience.
Loved the comment "save some panic for later" Some rain gear might have allowed her to be a little warmer and cut wind. For me everything looks better on the bike. Happy trails.

Even if just once in your life you say “fuck it” and just... ride. Ride it out. Miles under the tyres. Sun, wind, rain. The creeping dusk, the bleeding dawn.

And then Up the Oregon coastline. My 750 Shadow ACE never leaked a damn thing. And I beat the hell out of her. The speedo went out, the turn signal switch broke and at least one of the carbs went bad but she still ran like a champ and never leaked oil, gas, or coolant. My Lowrider on the other hand leaks primary fluid even after I had the gasket replaced.

Absolutely Amazing Brother! Memories you'll have forever. We truly do live in a beautiful country if you take the time to look. And to make it even better, on a 30+ year old GoldWing, basically trouble free. That's why I love my 85 Interstate. So happy you took us along on this epic journey!

What a fantastic trip man, and two of my favourite UA-camrs in the one place 😁 one of your best videos to date.
I'm in Scotland, here weve got the roads, we've got the scenery but the weather's not always hospital, makes it all the more special when the sun's out and you get to ride through the mountains.

Dude, I love your enthusiasm and general love of life. I live in SW Virginia and I take for granted having the Blue Ridge Parkway in my back yard. Now I got to abandon the yard work.....and take my old FXDX for a 200 mile loop. I enjoy riding 45mph on the parkway and just relax....like you said "going slow on a slow motorcycle"!

I watch most of your videos but this one was somehow one of my favourites. Your energy and love for life is contagious. Your trek through the Blue Ridge Parkway was indeed gorgeous and the fact that you felt the need to stop talking through while on that road, shows your reverence and understanding of what beauty is. By the way, I ride a 2018 Goldwing DCT Tour and will be heading through Tampa on my way from Virginia to Key West. It would be amazing to meet you at some point.

I've had my head down working on some projects for the past month , so I didn't get to see this until now. As a West Virginian, I am so happy that you enjoyed our roads (even though the Goldwing didn't lol). If you and some friends ever find your way out here again, I will happily offer to put you guys up for your stay and point out some awesome backroads for you to take on! Just... don't plan on coming back through between October and March of any year, because then you'll have ice to contend with on top of the leaves and grass. Ride safe!

The stories and memories you have made on this trip are worth their weight in gold! My wife and I made the decision a couple of days before Sturgis to go up for the weekend. Left at 5:30 Saturday morning and came back home Sunday night😂bout 1300 miles round trip. . Not the smartest thing we’ve ever done but it was a ton of fun!

I enjoyed your adventure and thanks for taking me along. I posted in first video so I will keep this one short. I really really enjoyed these and your attitude. Didnt get to meet Jess when I came thru Ohio in August but hope to next summer when I head back. I have friends in Tampa as well so dont be surprised if this dude hits you up on day for a handshake and cold one! Stay safe and keep that energy and vibe flowing!

Grew up in SW Pennsylvania, loved the hills, tunnels and bridges! Been in Central Florida (east coast) for nearly 40 years now, and even though the terrain here is not nearly as scenic, I could never move back north and give up year round riding! Loved the video, looking forward to the next time you wake up and impulse ride another 3000 miles!

This video and the other one inspired me. Couldn’t take the bike, but finally got off two days in a row. Grabbed the truck and took off on a 16 hour trip to Tennessee. The road is freedom, and the bike is the key, but just getting out of here helped blow off some steam.

You’re a NUT! Did that ride in reverse ( New York to FL and back) but took 9 days and hunkered down in a hotel for Sally. Didn’t go on an interstate until I ran out of mountains in GA so I was REALLY happy to see you get off them. I couldn’t agree more. West VA is gods gift to motorcycles. And call me a h*mo but the only way I could explain the blue Ridge Pkwy was magical. Wish I knew you were out there. Would have kept my eyes open for that awesome purple goldwing. Keep up the great work!

Very nice video trip.I live in the mountains of VA, on the border of WVA, and I have taken my '81 Goldwing Interstate on all the roads here, from I-81 & I-77, & on all the backroads to visit friends and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It is a great handling machine anywhere I ride it. I have done complete rebuilds of the suspension, carbs, cables, brakes, and other wear & tear items to keep the original handling and performance. Just sold it last week to make more room for the next project bike, and I will definitely miss it until I get a replacement.
