It would be fun if one day you showed us the procedure for turning all your equipment on and off
Thank you for sharing all this! Love hearing about the process. In addition to gear, also interested in the process of coming up with a sound, composing, etc. ❤
So great to have you back!!
im so looking forward to hear something :) thanks for the rundown, again.
Awesome video.
Very cool 👍👍
Selling all gear was just to justify buying more new gear. True gearslut 👍
I cannot wait to see how many outputs are coming out of each system and into the mixers & master buss. Love this stuff! ❤🙂👍
It's mono
It's quad@@solidmoods
What I mean is doesn’t he have everything x4?
@@nickcope I'm just goofing around it probably is ;)
Fantastic!
Just seeing all this makes my brain melt.
Can't wait to hear these racks through both Eventides. The 9000 sounds so great. And the H 90, whilst a bit of a menu diver, has many great classic algorithms of recent years like Blackhole.
Great routing config! I dig the Model 2H9. I would like to know what speakers and sub are you using for this new system. Thanks for the videos!!
You can can "filter" the sounds within just the Buchla. Low pass gates are pretty flexible. Also, some sound demos would have been nice.
Hey Tom, I've noticed you never did Studio Time episodes for the Sonic movies. I've been very curious at how you created a few of the cues from those two films as well as a couple more from The Dark Tower. Here's a small list of them if you ever plan on making Studio Time episodes showcasing how you made them:
A Visit from the Doctor (from Sonic the Hedgehog)
Dr. Robotnik (from Sonic the Hedgehog)
Papa's Got a Brand New Stache (from Sonic the Hedgehog 2)
Sinister (from Sonic the Hedgehog 2)
Full Package as Advertised (from The Dark Tower)
Death Always Wins (from The Dark Tower)
+1 for a Sonic studio time episode, would love that!
Thanks again for another great video full of wonderful inspo. What kind of cables do you use for the eurorack? Anyone know?
You say going to speakers? You route the same thing to sound card for recordings right? Are you able to send return things from your computer to it? If so you keep the patch with the routings till you finish the project or you record everything including the returns?
Congrats on the NFT! Any news?
I swear Tom's days are 64hours long
😅
Is it possible to use a filter rack module as an send/return fx into an analog mixer?
So when play 🙃😎?
Can the eventide correct the strange tuning of the buchla vco s
Owned a star lab, I found it and most other digital modules and FX devices very underwhelming in their sound compared to a good spring reverb or tape delay.
Lets hear it then
😊
What are those mixers down below the Buchla??
Tascam. The left one is a cassette multitrack recorder.
He's just such an ISTP
To answer your question who knows Buchla systems well - Suzanne Ciani
Let us hear some patches......!
I was hoping to hear some demonstrations? Not one note was played :(
Coming in future videos!
I guess Tom is one cable away from make it sound ;)
So your eurorack FX coming into Buchla are all mono? Isn't that a waste?
✨🎛✨🎛✨🎛✨
All nice and good, but how does it sound?!? These videos feel like I’m reading a brochure..
Time for a demonstration of everything so we can hear some sounds.
Can we hear it though?
holy jesus, I wonder how much such a rack costs :)
Thank god Tom is not color blind.😅
Xaoc is pronounced Chaos
just switch the s with the k
@@SamElektronIt's in russian Xaoc из Chaos.
moog!
it's moog, not moog@@russ254
why not let us hear some if it !!!
Why don't some people give up on modular walls and fanatically stick on multi-meter hardware, while today a 200 MB plug-in does the same thing, and maybe does better?
Looks like little boys playing with toys!!!
Why ditch the massive 5U system for these inferior formats? I can't imagine using these tiny euro modules or using separate cables for audio and CV. Buchla and Euro just sound like software anyways. You should have went with a 16 panel Serge.
