How is the FM Towns programmed? It's kind of like an MS-DOS machine with extra sound and graphics chips, etc. Also, has anyone made devkits, sprite editors, etc. for it? It should make it easier to program for the computer itself.
Say, what if this game was on the original Playstation or the Sega Saturn? Heck, I imagine if Illumination Laser was on the PS1. Would you be surprised?
SITER SKAIN has an official bandcamp with the soundtracks for KAMUI, RefleX, and ALLTYNEX Second's OSTs. The album for Second does have the original soundtrack for ALLTYNEX in the track list as well. siterskain.bandcamp.com/album/alltynex-second-original-soundtrack
is this on an actual fm towns or an emulator if it's on an emulator which one because i'm trying to find a way to play this game but i can't find a rom of it.
Hey there, I was wondering if I could use some of your footage from your Alltynex and Raid Wind game-play. I'm going to be doing a review/essay of ALLTYNEX Second and was hoping to get some footage for demonstration of SITER SKAIN's earlier projects. I'd be crediting you for the footage if I got to use it. Thanks in advance for your consideration. :)
Going by the Shmups wiki, it's a Remake. And just looking at the level designs, bosses and enemy placement, they're very similar to the Alltynex Second.. I'm convinced it's a remake, not a sequel.
It's clearly evident that just by looking at the level progression, locations, Area titles, some of the bosses, etc., it's clearly meant to be a remake, especially since the FM Towns vrsn of the game is old and hard to make available outside of the platform. The game is still quite amazing for it's time however.
truly ahead of their time, through and through; bloody pioneers!

Is there a way to listen to this game's OST? Or is only Second's OST available?
Also, the slowdown on this one... oof...
