You guys are answering so many prayers bringing closure to these families. You fellas are Doing the work of gods, you were blessed with a gift of finding what's lost.
My mom had alzheimer's. One of the things the disease does is remove the brakes-- a person with alzheimer's loses the ability to control their anger (and they have a LOT of anger) or their reactions, and as they become more childlike they also become more agressive. And yet... I honestly believe the person is still there, but is cut off a bit at a time from seeing the rest of the world and being able to interact with it, with the very occasional glimpse through, like a tiny hole in a heavy blanket. My younger sister was sitting with my mom (who was at the level of about a 4-year-old at this point), reading a copy of Little Women to her since she had always loved that book. And my mom stopped her suddenly and said "Let me." My mom hadn't spoken clearly except to yell for several months at that point, and she could no longer read, but she took the book from my sister and slowly, clearly, read the rest of the chapter out loud. And then she handed the book back, and she became what she had become again. There's nothing good about it; nothing easy, nothing kind, nothing. But I will always remember that my mom came back for a few minutes, and I will always believe that somewhere inside she was still there, shut away in a cocoon of her illness.
My heart breaks for their son he not only lost his mum to a terrible illness, but hes lost her again along with his dad, no child no matter how old he is should go through this suffering twice. God bless Curt.

I know which one you are talking about. I'm pretty sure the one you are referring to wasn't actually the sheriff but a deputy and the actual Sheriff either contacted or wrote a letter to AWP apologizing for that investigators behavior and said that kind of behavior would not be tolerated at his agency. Hi guys! Massive fan from the UK, I just want to say that I love your channel, it's got alot of heart, the passion for what you do is clearly genuine. You've given closure to so many families, so please keep doing what you do, you're making a difference to so many lives out there.
I was just in Atchison Kansas literally about 4 hours ago. It’s amazing the work y’all do for these families and bringing an explanation to them. Great work guys.
These guys are absolutely a blessing & amazing !! They both are so caring & compassionate to assist those in desperate need to find missing loved ones. I cared for many Dementia & Alzheimer’s patients. It’s a disease that shows NO mercy. It’s very heartbreaking to see them in this state of mind. I just lost a bro John with Parkinson’s disease & it also another disease shows no mercy, it took over his mind & it was so sad. I commend these. guys for what they’re doing to reach to help others in desperate need. They have a big heart♥️🙏 I pray they’ll continue with their efforts to find missing persons♥️ 🙋♀️👍🙋♀️♥️
Jared, did you guys search the two retention ponds less than a mile from their home? They both have road access down to the water. My heart aches for their son. I pray they can get some answers.
Jared and his friends are doing a great job, I'm happy to see family getting to know that there is help out there. So happy to watch and sometimes cry with everyone. Love from Harrison Michigan.
Being a caretaker for Alzheimers patients and having a loved with this disease I know firsthand the what an awful illness it is. As sad as this case is the positive is that they were together to the very end. Praying that the family will get the closure they need. Thanks AWP for all you do 💜💜
You guys are absolutely amazing !!! I just came across your channel last night and have been binge watching. I can't get enough !!! So many families got closure because of you guys it is truly amazing. May God bless you and keep you save on your dives and may he always point you in the right direction of these lost souls.
I too looked after my mum and one of my best memories were when sitting chatting together, she asked me who I was, and with a tear in my eye I told her I was her daughter, with that she beamed at me and said how lucky she was to have such a lovely person as a daughter .. the tear of pain turned into a tear of joy this is one of the cruelest diseases that can happen to a loved one, and still not a lot is known about it
That made my day... Im an amputee too and love what u guys r doing... You guys r really making a difference and hope it keeps on for awhile and stay safe guys.
You guys do some awesome work. Bringing closure to families, finding lost vehicles, just awesome work! God bless you and keep you all safe and healthy. Good luck on all your endeavors.
I just stumbled upon your channel...maybe because I watch a lot of mystery & crime stories. Who knows. Anyway, I just wanted to say how incredible you both are. Your work & dedication to it is invaluable. You made me cry watching you get emotional when you found Ethan. Truly inspiring & uplifting...even though they’re under very tragic circumstances. So thank you, for everything you do. I’m sending so much gratitude & support from Brooklyn, NY. 💙Dana
I'm in Australia, and I've been binge watching the missing/found & cold case files... Good on you's for what you're doing, as much as I hate the ads I'm watching them all to make sure you get all you can, I hope as time goes on that all police all over the states will either work with you or ask for your help. Good luck with future endeavours anyhow. You guys are great! As well as Sam, chaos and a cpl of others that work with you too, I've subbed to them all. 🤘 Cheers.
I also watch this from Australia and in a recent video drop Jarrod did I think I remember him saying that Australia will be becoming part of this trend diving for lost cars. If so I would love to learn a lot more if it happens. Maybe Jarrod and team may come to Australia 🇦🇺. Please Jarrod we would love to see you guys do a season here in Australia if it could be funded somehow
I'm in California, but binge watched an Australian show called "Missing Persons Unit" then luckily came across this channel. It really makes me happy when people are found and their families finally have closure!!❤️
I was surprised that you stayed in the tall grass so long and didn’t use the field instead. And even if there was a road there, it was long gone. I thought Dan was going to fly off the top of the RV, I kept yelling: “Hold on Dan!!!!!” 🙀🙀 I hope you can find Bob & Mary Black and bring closure for this family. The dedication you have in locating vehicles with possible loved ones in the water, is astonishing. I’m 🙏🏼 praying you can find more lost souls in the coming weeks on your second trip. I will be sending good thoughts your way and please stay safe! 🤿🧡😊
They should get permission before going on any land, It may seem like nothing to you but, farmers don't want there fields driven on and torn up. in the fall or winter. It is like if I took my truck and drove across your front lawn. Not cool!
SO MANY missing people in the big muddy Mo. That current will shock you as it looks so peaceful from the shore. Add to that the tremendous amount of silt flowing in it and you can see how it is nearly impossible to locate a buried vehicle let alone pull it out. If you're going to continue to search the Missouri I would suggest combining your services with that of a dredging company because you will need to move a lot of silt. Hats off to you guys.
I have recently started watching your videos and it's absolutely amazing what you do I just want to thank you for returning all the missing people do there families yes it's under very upsetting circumstances but at least they have closure. They are all home...
I love how excited you guys got when you came across that tunnel. You definitely need those moments of happiness (and a little mischief!) to keep your spirits up when you're doing what you're doing. You guys are genuine, caring people and I look forward to watching you connect with families to find them closure in 2021.
Thank you for what you do. I find myself teary eyed at the end of the episodes where loved ones are found. After caring for my mom for almost 10 years due to alzheimer's disease, this case touches my heart. I would like to think out of love they left this world together. My hope is their son finds peace. Cherish the good memories, focus on the love they shared and let go of all the rest❤
Been watching your episodes since yesterday. You guys are amazing. Was working with my pendulum while watching the episide. My guardians came through and tell me you guys will find them. Soon. Again thank you for all that you do.
Hello, from up river. After the flooding in 2019 there is all kinds of things in the river now, much more than there ever was. Just an old river rat here, that has been canoeing this river for the last 40 years, all year round. Been down to Atchison quite a few times back in the day, stay closer to my area now. Really appreciate the work you all are doing ! Stay safe.
The field had me laughing, smiling, and relating so much. Love a small county town where people do some crazy stuff. Keep on keeping on AWP :) and thankyou
How am I just now hearing about/seeing this video??? They’re my great aunt and uncle. I knew they were missing but I didn’t know their case was covered like this at all.
I've been by this river more times than I should have when it's been badly flooded, and or flooding... This river is no joke... Even when it's not flooded. This river is pure dangerous plain, and simple. Living within it's presence for 27 years I can say that. Every time I go to it, it still makes my skin crawl for a brief moment.
I am so glad I stumbled across your channel. I look forward to your videos so much. You guys seem like the nicest people and I really think you make a difference in the lives of families across the country. Keep up the great work!
My grandma had Alzheimer's disease. He's right! It is a devastating disease. I was really young when she got it. It broke my heart that she wasn't able to remember who I was. She was so talented before she became sick. She use to knit and sew. I miss her so much
My sincere condolences and prayers are lifted high for y’all and all families/patients who have this horrific disease! I pray one day day soon that there will finally be a cure! Love y’all so much!
Thanks Malinda, I appreciate that. Yeah now both my aunts have it. I wouldn't be surprised if my dad was still alive if he would've gotten it too. Seeing that they were all my grandma's children
@@cheryllynn8209 Hi. I'm a retired nurse with special training in six specialty areas of medicine. Alzheimer's was one of them. My dad also had it as did his mother, and in the course of the disease forgot who I was as well. One of the biggest things to remember with Alzheimer's patients is to know that a huge part of what they experience is like a movie of their life, playing backwards. The disease steals their most recent memories, then goes backward in their life from there, taking precious memories with it as it goes. There may be moments while a wee bit of light shines through for them and they will remember something briefly, but overall, yeah, backwards. I know, this info doesn't make it any less painful, my dad would ask who I was every time I fed him. But it does help to understand a bit more about what's happening to them. Hope this helps a little somehow. I ran a 60 bed Alz unit for three years, and can't even begin to count the families I've seen go through this, and the heartaches are innumerable. Hang in there, all of you on this thread.

I've been following the blacks story for awhile. Was really hoping to see this case come to a close...they need to be found
Jared, did you guys search the two retention ponds less than a mile from their home? They both have road access down to the water. My heart aches for their son. I pray they can get some answers.
Jared you need to be careful and more of an example, we don’t want to be fishing you out of a river.
Great Video!
Thanks AWP for all you do 💜💜
Oh man I can only imagine the toll this kind of stuff takes on your mentality. I hope y’all stay strong through the good this y’all are doing!
On this episode Jared makes his own road this is one episode your not gonna wanna miss

So many families got closure because of you guys it is truly amazing. May God bless you and keep you save on your dives and may he always point you in the right direction of these lost souls.
When is day 2 being posted? I just love y'all I also love the videos of Jarred and his daughter with the"dad" jokes. Keep up the awesome work!
It's a horrible disease. Took care of my Mom for 4 years with it. She became so violent towards the end
I wish to thank you for helping the people who are missing family members. My heart goes out to the families
The Story About this Couple Was Amazing! They Both Loved Each other Dearly! For SURE!!
💙Dana
The more I watch these videos the more I believe good people do still exist. Stay safe and much love!
Hi, I just want to say thank you for everything you do and you deserve everything you have been promised.
Love hearing the excitement in your guys voices when you seen the tunnel!
Saw...just saying. Peace.
I was surprised that you stayed in the tall grass so long and didn’t use the field instead. And even if there was a road there, it was long gone. I thought Dan was going to fly off the top of the RV, I kept yelling: “Hold on Dan!!!!!” 🙀🙀
I hope you can find Bob & Mary Black and bring closure for this family.
Not cool!
@@b.t.3780 they usually do
The things you do to reach the waters you guys need to scan God bless you all Ty for doing everything to bring them home
Thank you!!! Just so happened I was looking for something to watch when this popped up!!! Love what you do!!!
It's a horrible disease, both my aunty and my nan have got it. It's like there is different people.
Love y'all and what you do for the environment and mostly searching for loved ones. Prayers love for y'all and for the families of missing loved ones.
I love the way these small towns are filled with kind people who want to help. The cops have been great as well. Great job guys!
I lost my dad to Alzheimer’s, 2.5 yrs ago...it’s a horrible disease. I cared for him 5 yrs. God bless this family...hope there are answers...
God Bless Y'all its not easy Watching Someone Special You Love have this happen to them. 😭💔
Sometimes these types of videos are so heartbreaking to me that I can't watch. Having said this, what you guys do for these families is beautiful.
I have recently started watching your videos and it's absolutely amazing what you do I just want to thank you for returning all the missing people do there families yes it's under very upsetting circumstances but at least they have closure.
They are all home...
When will you be uploading Day 2 of this search? I'm trying to be patient but you've sparked my curiosity.
I don’t think they found anything so they just didn’t post
They will be returning in March for the Linwood case (according to the local news). Hopefully they will return to this location as well
You guys are so amazing 😻. Having fun makes life easier to deal with. Thank goodness for you guys and what you’re doing.♥️♥️♥️♥️
I hope you guys are able to bring a lot more people home this year❤️ best of luck! -Erin
Thank you guys for your hard work. My total respect
Our pleasure! Thank you for watching & supporting AWP 🤩
Thank you for all you guys do. It is amazing. So inspiring and so thankful for your constant and endless work! 🌹
I love how excited you guys got when you came across that tunnel. You definitely need those moments of happiness (and a little mischief!) to keep your spirits up when you're doing what you're doing. You guys are genuine, caring people and I look forward to watching you connect with families to find them closure in 2021.
Y’all are about a mile down river from our family farm land. Super cool how the Winnie blazes that trail. We are ready for part 2!!!
I haven’t been to Atchison in well over ten years. Love the ‘Dragon House’.
I just want to ask a question.. is the river always brown/dirty?
@@99halfnote yes. Around here. It’s always churning dirt and flows fast.
Keep up the good work! Hope yall can help find randy leach this year!
I like it when you guys add humor.
Wow high school sweethearts and they died in their 70's. That's so romantic. Ya know that's love right there.
I have a photo of my dad at 7 with my mom at 2. They will celebrate 65 years in June. My dad was at the hospital the day my mom was born.
@@ann-margretcochran399 huh 🤔
@@IAmComp- he’s saying they have known each other their whole life pretty much
Watching the Winnie plow the tall weeds with the banjo music was the laugh I needed after this horrendous week. Can't wait for part 2!
Hiya, from New Zealand, you all do such awesome work. Looking forward to the next episode. Keep up the great work👍
Been watching your episodes since yesterday.
Stay safe.
You guys are truly incredible what you do is a blessing knowing you guys bring closure to family’s that need help.
God bless you and stay safe
The field had me laughing, smiling, and relating so much. Love a small county town where people do some crazy stuff. Keep on keeping on AWP :) and thankyou
Love you guys being there when others can't to look. It's beautiful!
Been binge watching this all week! I love it! You guys are doing a massive amount of good for people who can't get/afford help! Good job guys!
Should've went to the Sally House in Atchison! Such a cool old town! Saying Hi from Kansas City!
Love you guys and what you’re doing! Hope to see you when you come back to New Madrid MO!
Take care!
True adventure using a drone to drive,. Crazy fun 🤪😁 love you All
