You can tell from the way Mikko follows her mother around (like any other little girl of her age) that she lacks nothing by way of love, care, trust and warmth.
Mikko is your special gift, and such a joy to watch. I love watching her progress. Precious, you are one special person I love how you open up her mind to different things in the world, not putting limitations on her, not handicaping her mind. You two are amazing parents. Thanks for sharing your precious daughter with us. ♥️
I love watching Mikko's progress. So many people come on here thinking they have all the answers. It is very evident you all are figuring out what works for you. Keep doing what you're doing. She is amazing!
What a sweet and beautiful little girl!! I'm praying that she has good health, peace, prosperity, and love. Also praying for these things for the whole family. ❤🙏😊
Teaching autistic children ASL is such a great idea to compliment and assist with their communication needs. Question: why did Mikko grab her chest? It scared me! Mikko would love West African dance and Ballet! Another way to communicate and relieve stress! Mikko is soooo AMAZING!
Keep Going! It's Wonderful to see y'all find the Beauty in it All, just as Mikko found that living, white, yellow flower among the dead, dried weed-grass, and with such determination, she picked that one lonely, lovely grass-flower." Much Love & Prayers, Keep Going!🙏🏽🥰🥰🙏🏽
My kids used to stand on my feet as a little kid and then when my granddaughter had done that with my daughter, her mother, it was such a beautiful full circle moment. Thank you for sharing these beautiful moments with us. 😍
I am beginning to rethink what autism really entails. I know there must be different levels of comprehension and development. I have watched your little girl for quite awhile now and have concluded that much of the information we’ve been fed is at best inclusive. About ten years ago I was invited to a holiday dinner by a friend of a young Jewish couple whose daughter had been diagnosed with autism. She was about three or four at the time. All her little cousins were there…running around …playing…eating too much candy and generally doing what kids that age do. Meanwhile, this young couple spent the majority of their time in the bedroom, holding a crying…yelling child..trying to comfort her. They would trade off and one would attend the guests while the other sat with her. I could see the stress in their faces, but they handled it with a kind of quiet grace. My heart broke. After, most of us had left, I stayed and helped clean up. By then, their daughter had calmed down and I couldn’t help but wonder if their marriage would endure? How much longer they could hang on? If this little girl would everI play with toys…or laugh or eat too much candy? Would she ever feel love? That was about ten or twelve years ago and once in a while I think about them and wonder how they are doing? Watching you and the strides your daughter has made, gives me hope. I look forward to her continuing to blossom. Thanks for posting.
You see autistic people everyday. you would never know. It cannot necessarily be quantified by ‘levels’ but is rather a separate function of the brain from allistic people.
I'm very happy to see the continued growth and the bonds that both of you share with Miko. I remember you spoke once about school for her. Can you remind us on where you are in that process? I can see her doing very well and thrive being in a professional and specialized program. I get very excited for her !
She is doing so good with her words! Go big girl! ❤ I have a three year old, non verbal, who I'm starting the process of getting a diagnosis and starting services! Thank you for sharing like you! It gives me hope. Mika reminds me of my son. His starting to say more sounds and starting to use a few words more often! What is that book series called?
All I get from this is that you are amazing parents, amazing family, she feels loved and her needs are met and all this is beyond brilliant y'all are amazing so is Mikko keep it up
4:07 when she clicked button and put tge middle finger it had me crying, but i love your guys videos. When i watch yall it makes me happy, and i feel better when im sad or angry.😊😊
She is so happy and doing wonderful!! I have sent my daughter to ABA and it was really super hard for her, she is still adjusting at 5 years non stop with me, it's also hard to trust others with her. I see how you are with Mika and it's so inspiring! Love this & how patient and loving you are with her. I think my daughter is missing the full days with me. I was wondering, where did you find those books? I would love to do that with my daughter. She really struggles with speech and communication this would be wonderful for her to have!
Well done precious! Even if her learning ability is slow by the time she is 18 she will be able to speak full sentences and understand a majority of things. Keep going!
"YOU'RE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB 💯 MOM!" "ALL HAIL 🙌🏽👑 TO THE QUEEN 🙏🏽🤲🏽👑🖤💝🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️!" YOU'RE DOING GREAT MIKKO❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I remember tell my daughter to "use your words). She had speech therapy too. She has a super long tongue so it's kinda hard to talk with it or so I thought. She talks clear 24/7.lol
Autism is ‘hot’ right now on platforms but Mikko’s presentation is not typically autistic. She has a form of autism as well as other conditions which account for her presentation. Some autistic children are getting straight ‘A’s. Some autistic people are university professors. It does depend if there is also other conditions such as intellectual disability. It is misleading to suggest this is what autism looks like.
This mum deserves a global prize, not just for her love and patience, but also for teaching us so much. We love you. God bless you.
❤️💪🏽🌹🙏🏽
❤❤❤❤
She's so beautiful! Such a loving spirit! Thank you for being so wonderful for her!!!
I love how you are teaching her to sign while she is talking her butt off. 😂
I work with these children every day and there is no end to what they will teach you as you nurture them. ❤
You can tell from the way Mikko follows her mother around (like any other little girl of her age) that she lacks nothing by way of love, care, trust and warmth.

A therapist said that autistic children are the most beautiful children he has ever seen. IMO, he's right.
It's such a innocence about them 💛💚🩷💙🧩
Agree

Mikko has definitely come a long way. The love, patience and support of family has definitely made the difference. Love y'all
The other children are austic too right? Why are they not also the focus? Respectfully it appears that you favor her more than the other children.

Madam I am happy to see this 🥰 pls pray for my daughter also to improve 😢
Where did you get the books from?
4:34 she is saying 'pika' which means cook in Swahili.
How did she learn that? It's amazing, because I don't remember seeing that word on an oats' container or tin.
@@ForPeace14 maybe is her mind that is processing information that way
Looks like Love
You can tell Mikko is a daddy's girl
Where can I find the book?
😊😊😊😊
Question...is she afdectionate? Do you get love from her? I love her so much..
Hi gentle miko she doing great. Anyway where did you buy books I will do buy for my son please 🙏 can send for me
This is NOT what autism looks like. There's no way to paint one picture for autism. Your son is autistic and he's nothing like this.
@PhD_Author You're exactly right. This is like posting a picture of South Beach and saying "This is what Miami looks like". Very misleading.
I wouldn’t do her hair as often . Is that bad?
It’s not bad. But the longer her hair not done, it would be more difficult for her and mom to handle it🥰
She could make it easier on herself and Mikko by cutting some length. The obsession with the hair is weird.
@@cherylsmith6843Whose obsession are you speaking of?
Yep
Yep
How come we never see her dad Chris son. Does he ever come over to see you'll?
❤❤❤
Her names Mikat?
😊😊
I thought Miko was in school?
