Can relate, a lot of times, we all make it out okay, but sometimes I'll see someone shoot someone who's down or just leave that person for dead, just because they're holding up the campaign from ending by being down. To be honest, I would get anxious to prevent all of us from dying, just because I played throughs so many rounds and had to kill so many infected and tanks before help arrived.

I was playing Nick on parish, and Coach and Ellis made it, but I saw Rochelle was falling behind and she got incapacitated by the horde. I had an adrenaline shot at the ready, popped it right then and just wrecked the horde around her and helped her up so we can escape. That was a very memorable moment in this game for me.

I swear this theme must have some really deep themes of music theory even if I don't really know much about it myself, because it's like it gives you this sense of urgency so intense it conditions you to run as fast as you can, it's like a sudden shot of adrenaline.

Dark carnival story. We were already having a pretty rough game up to that point. Had a lot of close calls and we were neck and neck by the finale. They had gotten up pretty high past us and we only needed to have two of us survive to the end to win. We all went up to the meta spot in the corner and sat everything out a decent bit, the tank roughing us up a bit on both times. Then when the chopper came, we were on the wrong side and were faced with endless hordes and two tanks. My best friend and I used our adrenaline shots and B lined it all the way over, noticing our team mates had been basically swept up by the horde cause they had lower hp than us. We just BARELY passed their score and won with a 5 point lead. Felt good lol.

A story quite similar also happened to me and it was also on dark carnival. After 3 chapters, we had a pretty comfortable lead (600-700 pts I think) after losing in the first chapter. But then they caught up after Chapter 4 and brought the lead down to 400 points or so. Then, we only got through halfway on the finale and the lead was abt 800. When it was the enemies turn though, they played really well which gave me a bit of a panic attack since the lead was only about 350 points, and I kept saying to myself that we were gonna bottle it and Be the offsprings of Arsenal and BVB. Luckily, we clutched up, but we only won by 250 points. Safe to say that it was the best versus game I've ever played.

in hard rain and no mercy theres a high chance it seems, that you would meet a tank on your way to the rescue vehicle. issue is, the chopper hasnt fully landed yet and the boat isnt letting you in until a certain time despite visibly being there. it is a headache trying to outrun it with other infecteds intercepting.

Historia verdadera en Dark Carnival. Estabamos en el final, el Tank siendo mas que un dolor en el culo. Lo matamos y note que uno de mis compañeros murio. Con mucho afan, me fui a agarrar el defribilador y lo revivi antes de que llegara la horda. Vi el helicoptero acercarse detras mio y le di a mi compañero un poco de mi adrenalina. Rochelle y Nick estaban a punto de subirse al helicoptero, y ahi fue cuando note que debia llevar a Gnome Chompski. Lo deje cerca del estadio. Con sangre y sudor, corri y tire una bomba para que distraiga a la horda. Un Tank vino y quiso golpearme, pero para ese punto yo estaba a punto de salir del estadio y con valentia prendi el fuego del estadio y vi como el Tank se quemaba. Agarre otra bomba y la tire, esta vez en el estadio. Mi equipo me defendio y todos nos subimos al helicoptero. Mi momento mas intenso en L4D2.

esto fue en la campaña del 1 la cosecha donde tocaba irse en un APC, yo me subi junto con otro y estabamos dando apoyo para q los otros 2 vinieran pero uno lo tumbaron, el tercero estaba en la duda de si ir o no mientras limpiaba zombis y yo dije "al carajo todo voy a por el" selecciono adrenalina limpio los zombis y con las mismas lo levanto rapidin gracias a adrenalina y nos fuimos los 4.

I think you can really feel this OST on Dark Carnival and in The Parish. In dark carnival, right after being set the mood of an energetically tense rock concert... the mood suddenly changes and becomes serious as the chopper comes and then seeing all the zombies flood your way to it while a tank could throw a rock at you from anywhere. And in The Parish, it is set as the last campaign and the feeling that you are about to beat the game is very fulfilling and gives a sense of closure- especially if this was the last campaign you haven't beaten on Expert and as a goal you've been trying to score.

Just finished Expert Hard Rain the other night. Holy shit, the silence between the second Tank dropping and this kicking in was deafening. And then when it did kick in and the floor began shaking my entire throat went dry. Nick ate a rock throw for me and I decided to cut my losses by blasting Ellis in the face and only Rochelle and I crawled out of that mess.
"Surviving is winning, Franklin! Everything else is bullshit. Fairytales spun by people afraid to look life in the eye.

So one time I was with some buddies playing Dark Carnival on Expert for the "Still Something To Prove" achievement. During the finale, after lighting the 2nd Tank up like a Christmas tree the helicopter finally arrived. I rush to the light panel at the top of the bleachers, and lay down covering fire with my AK-47. Once my teammates get in front of me and they start running to the chopper, the final Tank shows up. And without hesitation I get in his face with my AK to distract him, but since it's on Expert I obviously go down instantly. One of my buddies runs to get me up, but the Tank notices and starts barreling toward him. I scream for him to leave me, and he does. They got Dark Carnival done, I did not. I still got the achievement first in that friend group though lmao.
Sidenote: Never realized this was a remix of the Tank theme
This theme reminds you that no matter how well you did during the rest of the other chapters you were never really in control of the situation. You made it out on the skin of your teeth

The zombie hordes are coming to end you, but if you've killed 800 zombies to get here, they don't stand a chance. Go get in that chopper and destroy anything that gets in your way.

I remember me and my younger brother were playing this in the 360 on swamp fever we were steps away from the boat next thing you know a charger comes out of a tree and charges at him. The charger charges him all the way to the plantation and a horde of zombies were attacking him. As nick screamed in agony my little brother started crying and telling me to rescue him. I didn’t and left in the boat. His eyes where in tears, I was dying of laughter. this song reminds me of playing online and there is always one person getting left behind. Funny stuff
