Her story is solidifying my choice to begin microblading. I’ve been in a dead end career that I have cried so many times hating what I was doing and I was always feeling like I’m in the wrong career. I’ve always loved the beauty industry and my own eyebrows have been my pain since I was 13 years old 🤪 I get it! I feel at home now. Thank you for sharing your story.
Lindsay, thank you for sharing that. I'm so happy for you! To have the courage to live life on your terms and dare to do what makes you happy is so easy task. Especially as creatures of habit that we are. The new and the unknown can be scary but it sure makes you feel alive! Congratulations! Thank you for watching.
What a great interview 💕im starting my microblading journey this January the start of a beautiful new year! I am so excited this just boosted my confidence! God bless ladies
I love what Vanessa said about most places stating not to bring your family or any extra people with you to your appointment. This IS why Vanessa is super successful. ❤
I can’t tell you how grateful I am you have chosen to put the microblading business under a microscope. I wanted to make the move from MUA to PMU but had so many questions on actionable steps of how to make the money. Something I want to highlight is how women making the move from bartender or makeup counter is something no one is discussing. I talk to women all the time about how we are one of the first generations of women to enter the full time work force and how the dynamics and challenges haven’t really been laid out clearly. Especially when it comes to moving up or taking the steps to build your own business rather than sell for and build for someone else’s business. Thank you for being a women who is supporting and encouraging the growth of other women. For giving us mentors and showing us the route to be business owners. Thank you Vanessa and Marisol. I’m going to attend Vanessa’s in person class in Miami. So excited to watch all of your content.
This video gave me motivation to keep going I am saving for my training and i have so much in mind for woman who dream of beautiful brows and other things I can learn along with it I want to be that next story
I'm on here looking how to startup a Microblading business in my area . I was looking to get my brows done and couldn't find a shop that did microblading. And it hit me like lighting$$ i need to get on this..I'm an esthetician and I always love skin and makeup..I'm so happy I found you ladies..thank you so much for your beautiful story.."empowering"!! Congrats!! Amazing story..
Hello girls. I am watching all your videos. Thank you. I am starting my business for Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Just 30 minutes from Cancun and from Tulum
I totally agree with the “no dm” comment I feel that is people who are ignorant to business. Clients like being able to connect to you in any way possible that’s great for both you and them
In Austin Texas they're charging 550-800 for eyebrows! Hearing your story I'm like damn they're over pricing. I would say Austin there's alot of middle class. So that's high compared to what your charging.
Tbh I’m at this stage of my life where I’m bored and I want more for myself, challenging situations, And this video said everything that I’m feeling. Such a good kick In my butt to start and be out of my comfort zone 🤌🏻💯
Lovely interview. I am very interested to know her gross after paying the yearly leases on her two business locations. Also deducting airfare & taxi/Uber services.
She goes from Miami to Chicago to work so does that mean she has to get a tattoo licensed for every state she goes to ?? Also what about taxes ? Can y’all make a video more on how to run a microblading business like actually how to legally do it
Kindaaa like my story... mines a bit different! I am struggling to leave my full time job! And this motivated me...! Will I do it! Uhhhh still don’t know
It’s exactly my story.. been a make up artist for 12 years and start working at a brow bar, learned pmu and now 6 months later I’m opening up my own salon and making money and loving my job.. wish I did this years ago
Girls i dont know what to do. I need Advice, so i took a Classic Lash extension class in MAY. And i have 0 clients. People keep canceling and Canceling on me! ITS ANNOYING. Im not that good at Lashing. And i just wanna give up. Ive been thinking about just going into Microblading now. I super interested. But All i hear is people telling me ! DONT DO IT! FIRST GET BETTTER AT LASHES BEFORE U JUMP INTO MICROBLADE!
people are picking up on your insecurities. Just give a 50% discount rate on the lashes until you get confident. You will also get repeat business this way
Did she get micropigmentation certified? I know that 3 days training is not much. I took 150 hours class plus internship still I felt I needed more time to understand more then just drawing a brow. The skin is such complex organ and so may things can go wrong. And not everyone is a candidate for microblading. How can someone learn all that in 3 days?
Alma Lugo but aren’t most acadmies around that time frame? I’ve donde research and most do certify you with a 3 day course and like after 6 months of exams and practice
I'm wondering why Vanessa said she wouldn't be able to do microblading at home like lashing? Is it because of the equipment needed or is it a business license restriction? Love all the info - thanks for this video!

I needed to hear this! Thank you
I don’t fit in anywhere. Next week I am learning microblading & ombré brows!
So inspiring!! This is an amazing story!!
This is awesome Marisol! Thank you for posting this type of content - much needed in our industry :)
Where were you doing brows when you started with your models. At your house, theirs or something els
This is such an interesting interview. Venessa, you are a super woman!
Such amazing advice!!
Thsnk you Marisol and Vanessa, really inspiring video
How do I get certify? I do watch alot microblading videos on you tube lately..I'm glad I found ya..ty ladies. Fr XOXO 😘
Wow love! Is there a specific requirement to become a microblading instructor?
Since you can't over expose after treatment to the sun what do you do during summer for living?
I still have people wear hats and avoid the sun in their face :)

800? Wow that certainly is a rip off....here in California it's about $500. Anyone charging over $600 is literally ripping people off imo.
I also live in Chicago, downtown. I see the hustle gurl. I’m right behind you. Hell, you might hear from me lol
Tbh I’m at this stage of my life where I’m bored and I want more for myself, challenging situations, And this video said everything that I’m feeling. Such a good kick In my butt to start and be out of my comfort zone 🤌🏻💯
Girl you took the words right out of my mouth, couldn’t have said it better 💯

Have you done it yet.. ready to stop being a waitress 😫🌞
ME TOO girl me too
Im a Sad waitress. SINCE 2007 I HATE IT! Im doing lashes. Im my worse critic! I wanna quit my waitress JOB NOW!!!! Ugh
It’s exactly my story.. been a make up artist for 12 years and start working at a brow bar, learned pmu and now 6 months later I’m opening up my own salon and making money and loving my job.. wish I did this years ago
How much did you charge the models?
I would love to know how do you fly with your equipment. I would like to do this between three cities
How did Vanessa work in makeup, lashes, etc having never obtained a cosmetology or estheticians license? Or did she and just forget to mention?
That's not required in every state. Idk about Florida, but in OR you dont need that, but you need to be a certified tattoo artist. Same in WA.
Lashes wasn’t regulated until 2019 :(
Florida requires certification in micro blading and pmu.

@@ssmiss2981 Just wondering why lashes first? they are two different services.
people are picking up on your insecurities. Just give a 50% discount rate on the lashes until you get confident. You will also get repeat business this way
Get a groupon account this way they pay upfront and have a time to schedule. Also require a deposit for non Groupon clients
You supposed to get paid a non refundable deposit before even booking them. That way they will show up because they already paid.

Alma Lugo State Laws differs. Some state no license needed, others none. Even after class, the practice on your own is VERY important.
Did you charge your models ?
Where can I get training from you
HI there, please email vangoacademy@gmail.com
So what licensing did u have cosmetology, esthetician, master class?
You need a BBP for this line of work
@@Vangobeauty__ what's "BBP"?
Does she have a UA-cam channel?
Did she charge for her models? If so how much?
No she asked for models on social media but they had to pay for the product kit that would be used on them.
I'm wondering why Vanessa said she wouldn't be able to do microblading at home like lashing? Is it because of the equipment needed or is it a business license restriction? Love all the info - thanks for this video!
Has to do with health regulations. You'd need a tattooing license/permit. I don't think you can do that at home though.
How much is Microblading
Tabitha Bracy from 350$-1200$ in New York
can I man be successful at this?
