This is seriously the best tv show I’ve seen on Netflix in a long time. I can’t even explain why I just felt all the emotions watching this and it feel so important. Also the fact that Sweden has a show about a school shooting before USA dare to touch the subject, when Sweden never have had a school shooting while USA has one every week... way to go Sweden and what a perfect way to show this subject. Its not about who did it, but why it could happen. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
nothingstaysthesame we have hade school shooting in Sweden. Even hade a dude run around with a sword and killed a bunch of people a few years ago....

We’ve defiantly have school shooting I think most countries have but they aren’t common and while the latest one was a while ago now..
I’m pretty sure Sweden has never had a school shooting, although we did have a school attack a couple of years ago were 1 or 2 people got killed.
Binge watched Quicksand in 1 night. Enjoyed the series, good fast paced story telling without leaving anything behind.
Finally an interview with English subtitles. Great show, great actors, I’m also totally in love with Felix’s music. And of course I have the book, Malin is amazing. Thank you, Sweden 💙 greetings from Bulgaria.
okay so I JUST FINISHED AND WOW it was soooo good and so important idk how no one is talking about it, it's honestly, in my opinion, one of the best shows on netflix!! i really thought she was gonna be convicted so the end was pretty surprising. and can we talk about the acting skills for a moment? particularly the leads and i was astonished by felix's acting because like i recognized him at first and i was like oh yeah that's that swedish singer but i never knew he acted and he played this role so well omg..

I really dont watch swedish shows Im too american for living in sweden but this was really good show on 6 episodes.. I was surprised by felix! He's a singer and this was his debut and he came off very natural like he's been an actor for a very long time.. also a chill dude I was supposed to get him ready for guldtuben 2018 (award show for influencers etc) but my makeup colleague is a huge fan of his so she changed with me so she could have him. But he sat right next to my "client" and was super chill n nice
Such a deep and moving, kind of disturbing - in a way that tells the story so very well, and great acting. Who's that Per-Olav.. He's amazing! I felt ALL the horror, got anxious, felt the sorrow, the (nervous) love, the stress.. Oh, the stress!! The relief... Just all of it.. Everything was so authentic!!
The best show I've watched in a looong time! Such great storytelling, acting, manuscript, EVERYTHING!! It handled all it's difficult and emotional topics with care and respect. Really hoping for a season 2!!
I always thought Samir was gay! I was shocked when I realized he wanted something to do with maja
I think there was better chemistry between Samir and Maja than Maja and Sebastian.
The actor, William Spetz, is gay in real life, so maybe that's why you got those vibes?

@@franciscagomes185 He is such a good actor I wish he'd be in more tv series and movies. I love his music and his voice, but damn his acting in this was so incredible. Amazing artist and seems such a sweet person.

Felix, can you stop stealing my heart!!! This guy is so authentic, and such a gentleman. Look how he helped Hanna put her water elsewhere! Though him sitting in the corner was at a disadvantage, I think. In the first question he was skipped, and in 9:06 he said there were two things but was only able to mention one. But honestly, Sweden really should make more Netflix shows. This was beyond amazing.

Such young great actors (Y) The series felt very realistic and it touched me. I was personally in school when one of our students came and stabbed four people in the canteen. I was working in the school´s student restaurant which was right next to the canteen and the killer was approaching the restaurant until one construction worker jumped on him from behind and the killer fell on the ground and was seized. Thank God non of the stabbed people got killed but one of them was our school´s caretaker who got stabbed in the spine and as a result of that half of his body got paralyzed. It was such a terrible and traumatic experience and I hope and pray no one has to experience that ever. Killing doesn´t solve anything. Only God does. We need to learn how to love and help each other. God bless you all.
It was quiet hard to watch it due to the various emotions I felt during this series. I feel really exhausted and really really sad, for all those, for whom that is reality. I felt really sorry for Maja, but also for Sebastian! I know how it is, always to be compared with someone ´´better´´ and I felt this pain and anger of Sebastian, just craving his dad´s approval, his attention, his love, support and protection. This really showed, that money won‘t make you happy, as long as there will be a lack of love and care.
amazing interview I loved the series and can’t wait to read the book but sad I didn’t hear what drew Felix to the role of Sebastian because his character is kind of the villain.🙂❤️
I think he kind of explained it when he said that he felt privileged to have given a chance to portrait such a deep, meaningful character and to bring a story like this to alive.

God Bless All the young people who starred in Quicksand, I Really Felt for Maya & Sebastian & Amanda, I Think Samir Complicated there relationship, Maya Should of Asked for Help, it was Alot for any 18yr old, to cope with, Sebastian should of gotten the Help he Needed, Some Scenes It was too Upsetting & Emotional too. but Way to go For Sweden, It gets the Message Out There, I Knew that Maya Never Shot Amanda, Coz it didn't make any sense. 👍👍👍👍
