Do a test video on the FIREHIKING 4-8 person hot tent and then tell me which one is better. More waterproof, better in the wind, bigger AND you can stand somewhat in it. Probably similar cubic air mass inside so the same stove would do just fine. Question, what do you like to run your stove at (temperature-wise) for "awake" hours?
Absolutely no idea what temperature I'd run the stove at. I kind of just tick over and take the chill off. I dont really like getting it absolutely blazing as I think I sleep pretty hot. The firehikinh tents look pretty cool. I might have a look at them sometime. :) Thanks for watching, much appreciated! 🙏
@@LakeDistrictOutdoors i enjoyed it! Just took the tent i referenced out and had 2 other guys in there with me with decent room. Even set up a table for cards! Enjoying it so far

No, mine withstood heavy rain for 3 nights. The only issue I've had was the peg loop at the base. The stitching came loose, and so ive sent it back now.
@@LakeDistrictOutdoors they have a great looking product and it would work for my needs but review after review on their past tents not so good so I am hoping they have fixed the issue

Nice! That's handy for these longer winter nights aswell. Cheers pal. 🍻
Nice tent for a couple of people to use. It would be interesting to see how it goes in a fair breeze. Top effort though lads
Thanks 👍

Cheers for watching mate. Aye, was a good doo this. I do love that tent!
I am thinking of buying this tent for backpacking through the mountains in West Virginia, USA. Would you reccomend this tent for such an endeavour?
@alfredosoup its a fantastic tent, its just heavy. As with all hot tents. You could maybe leave the poles behind and use sticks on your trip?
Does it leak like there past tents

I must say, it was my first pomoly tent and I really liked it. I will probably buy it again and just add some shock cord to the corners 😊
@@LakeDistrictOutdoors okay well I think I will give them ago I plan on canoeing the Columbia River starting in February
That sounds awesome! I'm very jealous!
