    You are so fun to watch, I can't remember for sure if you used watercolor paint in your other semi abstract picture, but I liked the watercolor paint because it was more transparent , and didn't cover what was underneath as much, very beautiful, you've inspired me to try something like this.

      You're right, in my previous video I used acrylic paints and not only that, I added some white to most of my paints, so they were quite opaque. Thank you so much Marilyn! 🥰🌷

    Been looking at different image transfer processes for a while and, for me, they have often been very hit and miss. After watching your vid here I tried a sort of variant. If what we're trying to achieve is the transfer of something generated from our printer onto a background paper, then one way is to put the background paper straight through the printer. Just tried this with a couple of gelli printed backgrounds and it works pretty well. Just a suggestion.

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  7 місяців тому

      That's a great suggestion! Obviously much easier to do than image transfer. But yeah, if you want to add your image to a large paper, canvas, wood, metal, glass or your journal, this is when image transfer is the best solution. Thank you Fergus 🥰🌷

    I love your videos! I'm excited to try the photo transfer process. I love your work both before and after you add additional color. Do you sell your prints? I'm just getting started and my focus is junk journaling right now.

    One question, do you have a video that can help us learn how to print the photos? You go through that pretty quickly. Knowing how to set the photo up to print would be incredibly helpful?
    Thank you! ❤

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  7 місяців тому

      True, I did show it quite quickly. To not repeat myself as I do show it in different videos, here and there. I probably should make a more organized video on the topic soon. Thank you Stacey 🥰

    Hi Nitsa, so you're mentioned applying a medium to the art work if I printed it on an ink jet printer. Can I please explain the process to me in a bit more detail? Thank you, Sue

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  7 місяців тому +1

      When working with inkjet photos in some cases you want to coat them with spray fixative such as Krylon’s Workable Fixative before transferring. Simply take your inkjet print outdoors and spray it with the fixative. Let it dry and then it's ready to be transferred. Some people use hairspray instead of fixative. I've never tried it yet, but it's worth a try if you have it at home.

  • @stefaniekappel
    @stefaniekappel 7 місяців тому

    Totally forgot to ask: why would you not transfer the image with a gelli plate but rather with removing the back paper?

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  6 місяців тому

      Hi Stefanie, I actually did in my latest video (ua-cam.com/video/VVecd-06eQY/v-deo.html) but the reason I don't use this process as much in my videos is mainly because it's a lot more difficult to do for most people. So, I tend to show the easier method.

  • @timwillis6292
    @timwillis6292 7 місяців тому

    Why don't you just run your painting through the printer instead of doing the paper transfer ?🌿

    • @NitsaCreativeStudio
      @NitsaCreativeStudio  7 місяців тому +3

      Photo transfer is great when you need to transfer to a large paper, canvas, wood or your journal. But even for a small paper, image transfer just has this organic texture that you can't get by printing directly into the paper. Thank you for your question Tim 🌷

    Enjoy your videos and unique ideas, have saved a bunch for future enjoyment, so I bought your book. What a disappointment as there is no clarity in the pictures, the printing appears to be done by a third grader, your ideas are spectacular, but lost in the faded printing…someone REALLY CHEEPED OUT on this entire project. After the book arrived, I read the feedback from there who totally agreed with me, and learned the first book was even worse!!!
