EGGLESS CAKE RUSK RECIPE l WITHOUT OVEN

Cake rusk is similar to biscotti but it is made out of twice-baked yellow cake batter. The yellow cake batter is baked into a flat, square or rectangular cake pan; once it is baked and cooled off, it is sliced into strips and baked again or toasted to make a cake toast.
Ingredients & Process:
1/2 CUP MILK
1 TEASPOON VINEGAR
MIX & KEEP ASIDE FOR 5 MIN.
1/2 CUP OIL
MIX THE BUTTERMILK
1.1/4 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 CUP POWDER SUGAR
1 TEASPOON BAKING POWDER
1/4 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1/4 TEASPOON SALT
MIX WELL
1/2 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
1/4 TEASPOON YELLOW FOOD COLOR
6 INCH OIL GREASED MOULD
POUR THE BATTER INTO THE MOULD
COOK IT IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT FOR 50-55 MIN.
CAKE IS READY, COOL COMPLETELY
CLEAR THE EDGES
CUT THE CAKE INTO SLICES
9 INCH OIL GREASED PAN
PLACE THE CAKE SLICES ONTO PAN
PLACE THE SLICES INTO THE PAN (THIS TIME NO NEED TO PRE-HEAT THE PAN)
COOK IT IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT FOR 20 MIN.
FLIP THE CAKE SLICES (BE CAREFUL THE PAN VERY HOT)
AGAIN COOK IT IN LOW MEDIUM HEAT FOR 15 MIN.
YOUR CAKE RUSK IS READY
