Tina Turner's Hometown

Tina Turner grew up about an hour west of Memphis in Nutbush, Tennessee. There's not much left from Tina's days as a child - a boarded up gin house, and a church she used to attend. In nearby Brownsville, Tina's former one-room school house is now The Tina Turner Museum. It was cool to drive down Highway 19 and see what Tina (then Anna Mae Bullock) would have seen growing up in the south.
