This unique bike is the ideal way to get around in the city. Being so small and lightweight, you could take it with you to meet your friends, to get you to the train station, the bus station, the mall or just simply anywhere around town. Extremely compact and lightweight make it easy to be transported by any typical person regardless of their physical strength. Even a girl can easily lift it up and take it upstairs to office or home with its net weight of 6.5 kg. As its folded volume can be extremely small, you hardly need to worry about accidental injury or damage to the bike in narrow spaces such as staircases and elevators. I have one. It feels kind of wobbly and very light, but still usable.
Congrats on your very good, informative and exhaustive review! Yours is the best review I ever viewed online. Based on that I was convinced to buy one for myself but with 10-inch wheels. This mini bike is a beautiful creation, both folded and unfolded. It looks sturdy and hopefully will last and serve well for the purpose of riding in short distance on flat smooth surface. I chose air tires over solid ones for stability in biking. When I finally tried riding this mini bike on a Sunday when there’s less traffic, I noticed it’s easy to pedal even uphill. I’ve been riding a conventional bike for years now, but I had to adjust to the new configuration of this mini bike. It was a wobbly start but I learned controlling the handle bar, turning corners, and applying the brakes to a quick stop. While speeding on board this mini bike, I didn’t notice it has tiny 10-inch wheels. More practice is needed to familiarize this bike since it took time folding it back and turning corners needs more attention. There’s no indication that its materials would give up on constant use. Using this mini bike in urban area will certainly lessen pollution and promotes good health.
instablaster...
skip to next year to see him ride it

Another possible alternative are the 80s skate bikes of which I have some recent clips of riding a modded Minson. These have a bit of a learning curve but after some practice they feel very liberating not having to use your hands. I also just got a Lerun with a 12" wheel frame and was able to use a Pedalflow's back wheel as a direct replacement (80 psi and also has a coaster brake).
Had a dream last night popping some wheelies on one like this, now i'm watching this video
Excellent review, thanks.
Great video . Thanks man
My uncle had bought one for me and my brother when we were kids , I want another one now that I'm grown I love cycling
I actually bought one of these also and been using it for when I get off the bus.
Andy Thousand what’s your experience with this bike?
Cant find in phillipines and i cant grasp how to use amazon i cry everytime
Awesome review thank you very much brother
Suprised it works!
I want to get this, though I'm not sure what for... 😄
But is it safe though? What if the tires caught some pebbles?
Is it comfortable to ride? Because the wheels are very small so would it take a lot slower and heavier (more ressitance to pedal) compared to regular bikes?
i remember these were real popular in like early 2000s i got one for christmas when i was 8 everybody wanted em then they just died out they had the cheap brands tho like at toys r us
looks good enough for simple distances in crowed areas and you can even carry it around. Abit on the expensive side 200dollar +.
Its around a 100usd now.
8:45 Look at the black plastic joint connectors of the rails. Just one look and you feel it won't last. I wonder where you will I buy replacement parts. lol
Any idea where to get spare parts? I need a new chain and maybe a new wheel for the back.
Very helpful review.
Thanks!
Can the seat be replaced with a more comfortable seat?
Folding bike companies need to stop trying to make the world's smallest bike, and instead improve on standard 16" and 20" models. This bike serves no real purpose except maybe on a college campus. On a city road, you'll end up under a truck. Thanks for making the video.
Last mile in your commute is also the idea. Easy to get into a train.
@@brubrushanghai I get that. That is why most of us invest in folding bikes, like myself. But this is just dangerous. You need stability, balance and proper traction with any bike. Also the tires don't seem strong enough for potted or bumpy urban streets. I would not go below 16" tires without better design. For public transport, I think 5Links and KwikFold are currently making the right design choices for commuters, followed by Brompton (still clumsy) and Dahon (still too bulky), though none are near this under $200. price.
@@rickmiletic1376 any newer recommendations for 16 inch foldables? It's been difficult to find an Ebike with a belt drive that could be super portable
@@NotHeresrsly Have not found any worth researching that are not already well known. It also differs on whether you are in U.S. or overseas.
The biggest problems with all the 16" I've found is extremely high cost ( the better are over $2,200. U.S. dollars - some up to $4K), clumsy folding and handling and still weighty.
The only new small e-bike I've heard some good news on for compactness is the Jetson Bolt. Not truly foldable, except for handlebars, then is carried like a suitcase with a special handle on the top bar. It is extremely compact with 12" wheels and easily carried onto public transport or indoors. It is non-pedal. Also, under $800. It is similar, but much more well-made than the bike in the video.
Having said that, small wheels usually translate into bumpy rides, I don't know how long charge works and if comfortable. I have seen a few as I occasionally visit city (we are still quarantining a lot in NY). I am tall, so not for me, but an interesting new entry. Unlike the bike in video, it is noticeably more well-made and does have standard inflatable bike tires, just 12", and better steering. It may still work as a usable bike to get to local locations, or for riding to and from public transportation as long as you do not mind carrying via handle.
Good Luck in your search. All types of bikes are hard to come by in NY, and when found prices are now in the thousands. Everyone is out of stock.
Strida 16" and rubber belt
I have one. Haven't used it much. But then electric scooters came along and I bought one that also folds tiny.
Interested in buying a 10" wheel size one and putting an electric scooter wheel up front.
That's the craziest thing I've ever heard.
dont give me ideas
This is an A-bike clone, created by Sir Clive Sinclair, the guy behind the Sinclair home computers including the famous ZX Spectrum.
Rustled Jammies .....not forgetting the infamous Sinclair C5
How can i buy it please make a vedio on
How much is it's maximum speed? is it same as a normal 24inch bike?
Hello,
I want to order an A-Bike with delivery in France but it is very hard. Do you know how to do ?
Best regards,
Virginia
Xerius Tracking check ebay...dont know if you are still looking for one tho😬
Great and I want to buy
This is quality content
Thanks!
Cool! I've noticed these for years as folding bikes are quite common in cruising sailboats as land transportation, but never seen anyone other than a 80 lb Japanese female model on one. Flat city commuters, makes sense. Plastic hinges may limit lifespan.
How fast tops speed km/h mph
How do the pedals fold up? I can't figure it out.
Is this bike using fixed gear crank?
Is this bike still alive ? Not broken? I’m worried and I want to buy because the material is aluminum and plastic
What driving set of this. Chain or gear?
The top of the frame protrudes too much and slants forward when the seat post is set low. I would be worried about injuring my “Crown Jewels.”
There is a 10 inch version of this......can you do a review on that one ?
I didn’t know they made one
I have that but im allow play in door
What's the battery voltage?
Where can i get this bike?
hahaha mean girls references! excellent
and Easy A
It's a good idea
"The "A" doesn't stand for adulterer, or else it would be perfect for me." That was the best line that I heard all night. Thanks for the video. Check out my station when you have a moment. #BicycleVacaville. Alfonso from Vacaville, California.
My great grand dads name was Alfonso thanks for the throw back
This is an unlicensed copy of Sinclair's A-bike, originally released around 2004. The electric-assist version was released a decade later. The originals themselves suffered from the wobbly/flexible ride, so it's probably not just a case of a this being a cheap poor quality copy. The never caught on, possibly due to the problem.
It feels like Sir Clive specified the folded-up size too small, leading to too much compromises to achieve that. Perhaps, if it was made 50% bigger (not just bigger wheels, the wheel base was very short), and using one of today's newer hub gears, this could be very useful.
Where I can buy one?
I feel like it's gonna break when I am going to mount on it
I'll pass.Thanks. is it really that much less convenient getting a decent 16 or 20 inch folder? The Dahon eezz seem very compact and offer decent performance. Good review though but not my cup of tea.
Brandon yeah. I also didn't expect this bike to unfold like you're setting up a tent for camping. Very time consuming. I think I'm good with my 16 incher.
Did the A for Adulterer help or hinder you?
Everything hinders me!
Is that tubeless?
I want one
Good review and so basically rides like a razor scooter meets a clown bike.
That’s the best description I’ve ever heard
hi, how much does this weigh?
thank you
is weigh 14lbs
5.9 kg
Can this cycle be locked?
On ebay, there is one vendor who offers a remote control type locker. It costs about 100 dollars more than the others.
Need very simple 😮
Beli ban dalam dan ban luarnya di mana
? Does it go around corners.

Send from Brasil?
"low tech bell"?
As far as I know that's still the standard model even on high end road bikes (owned and used for commuting) ....
8:02 is where the review begins.
What if I took this on a bicycle tour 😂😂😂
I have a bike like that im 10 years old i now how to use that bike
just ride the damn thing
Average speed ?
Jozsef Ienciu 25 kilometers /h
Thanks a lot.
Hronomarti 888 25 km/h. That is pretty fast!
Скорость меня интересует
Haw much?
A small wheel makes pedal harder than walking
Always cracks me up when he says "A" for adulterer
$?
Denys Lviv 900$
Really? He said 120 bucks at 6:30.
MADE IN CHINA?
WILL THIS BIKE FIT IN KIA SOUL W/ O FOLDING BIKE NOR FOLDING BACK SEATS ?
I bet it would fit. It’s not very big.
Those tires lasts for just 1 week.
One small fo
I want this bike sana mag karon ako nayan,
Meron sa Lazada. Kabibili ko lang. Huwag mo ng bilhin. Mukhang marupok lalo na yung mga plastic parts.
@@Red-tag77 may link ka po nung sa lazada? Dko mahanap ksi.
I like this bike, but they want way too much for them.
essa bike para terrenos acidentados não é legal .
A for adulterer?
That one is a Chinese copy , still good but not as sturdy/well built
"Even a girl...", seriously?
Lmao 😂
The inventor killed himself while attempting to ride it downhill...
One small rock ur On my way! ur nose,.
one word " POT HOLE
I bought this bike and I hate it! Super uncomfortable and unsteady
I bought one. Don't buy it especially the clones. It feels dangerous and its plastic parts obviously won't last. You'll look dumb owning it. Waste of money. Hahahaha
poor bike to carry massive..
“Adulterer would be good for me.” Do you know what an adulterer is? Just saying.
I stand by what I said.
That's a bad bike. I do not recommend it. Es una bicicleta mala. No la recomiendo. From Cucuta city in Colombia 🇨🇴 South America
Very slow & not strong cycle
Great review. Horrible bike.
hi.. d ypu have this bike one? any review up there? i plan to buy this one.. hhe
It is not the most good looking bike, but it can speed up to 25 km/h. So, on the other hand it is quiet amazing.
That's dangerous bike. It's easy to get accident.
To much talking
さっさとやれよ!
Wow nice it would be nice if it have three wheel ,a tricycle keep me posted if that happens
I bought this piece of shit, I threw mine away, unridable..don’t buy it
