It was so lovely to meet you ladies in person at RB! You all are just as friendly and kind in person as you come across on screen. My husband was wandering by while I was watching and the picture we took together came on screen. Then I hear “Babe, you got to meet them; you’re UA-cam famous” 😂
Hi Heather! Meeting our viewers is definitely the best part of Rhinebeck for us. We were able to take photos with most people we met but definitely missed a few. Your husband’s comment sounds a lot like something Rick would say 🤣🤣🤣
Another inspiring podcast! Great colours in your Letho, Tammi and how do you manage to match your pant colours to sweaters, amazing! All of the Letho sweaters are gorgeous and can’t wait to see the 3 of you wearing them together. Janet, your Cumulus Blouse is so pretty and a great colour on you! Cumulus sweater yarns, Claudia, are lovely together and your Sunshine Coast looks great with your cute earrings! Enjoyed hearing Rhinebeck trip recap! Hope at some point you talk on your podcast about how and where you store your sweaters. As a sweater knitter, I am always looking for information on this topic.
Thank you for all your nice compliments! We all have under the bed storage bins where we store our knits. We also have drawers and even hang some. We are accumulating quite a few sweaters! 🧶🍷
So nice to catch up with you at Rhinebeck this year again! And, yes, to a visit for sure. I didn’t realize we were so close! We will have to find a halfway spot 😊 You also have me now thinking about the Lento. I’ve always wanted to make that cardigan and I happen to have 12 of those Donegal skeins from my trip to Ireland…it would be perfect! Have a great day friends. 💜
Great episode, ladies! It was fun to meet you ‘on the hill’ at my first Rhinebeck show. And thank you for the stitch marker! I meant to compliment Janet in person on how she pours each of the three glasses of wine to the exact height on every episode but forgot. Good job, Janet!😉
So great to see you ladies, as always. Hey - Arne & Carlos have another Christmas Stocking knit along - this time throughout November, so that it can be done in time to decorate for the holidays. But first I had to get out the beautiful Christmas Project Bag I won on your podcast last year - and then I cast it on! Woo hoo! My first Christmas Project Bag ever, (it is gorgeous❤) and in it, my first Christmas project of the year!🎉
Claudia, I love your Sunshine Coast. I made one in Bamboo Pop that is so light and drapey! Thank you for sharing your fun at Rhinebeck. Living in CA, I don't know if I will ever get there! That Destination yarn is gorgeous! And, I can relate to all of your frustration at ripping and reknitting!! But, Tammi, your kitchner skills are impressive! Great podcast!
Yes it certainly does take a village! Knitting friends are amazing! While you were at Rhinebeck I was in Sarnia at my sister’s, Dawn of Co-Dependent knitters. You will have to do a fair weather trip there to be able to knit under the bridge! Thanks for another all inspiring episode!!
Thanks so much for taking us along with you on your Rhinebeck adventures! Love to see all your lovely makes! You supply such inspiration and encouragement. Janet I feel your pain 😉….”it’s only knitting” “do you want to go to the time out corner” ……” it’s only knitting” 🤣
Debbie, I’m glad you enjoyed our recap. There were so many beautiful people there as well as so many beautiful knitting treasures. I’ve been struggling with my knitting lately so I’m slowing down a bit. Thanks for your kind comments! 🤗🧶🍷
I always love watching your podcasts, your such great friends and compliment, support and care for each other, that is so wonderful. Can’t wait to see all your future makes and knitting journeys ❤️💕
Thank you so much!! We do love that we can be there for each other with our knitting issues and questions. We also love all of our friends who watch us and are supportive of us too. 🥰🧶🍷
For that flip while knitting the Friend to Friend Poncho that Tammy talked about when changing from rib to stockinette or stockinette to rib, see Patty Lyons column online at MDK, entitled “What the Flip” dated Dec 2, 2020.
I immediately bought the Cinnamon & Bourbon after seeing yours, Tammi! I've been looking for a pattern just like this and I trust Thea Coleman with my life, much less to design something perfect for me to make! You ladies are awesome 💕
Liz, The pattern is beautiful and more beautiful in person. You will enjoy making it. We all plan to make one on the podcast and will probably do a knit along. Thanks for your nice comments. 🧶🍷
My friends and I, also, bought the Cape May yarn for the Ursa sweater. It was stunning! Just by looking at the pattern, I wouldn’t have thought to knit it, but the yarn dyer’s mod was beautiful. ❤
That is lots of great knitting and yarn ladies!! Ironically, I live in Cape May and have never heard of the Cape May fiber company. So strange but I love those color ways . I can’t wait to see all of your finished cardigans.
So fun to see you ladies again! Beautiful makes! Janet, I had a run last year like you’re having…frustrating for sure but like with anything it passed!!!
Lovely podcast as usual. I saw you all at Rhinebeck on the Hill but you were talking with a lot of other knitters so I didn’t want to butt in. But I just want to say that I always look forward to seeing what you all are making - you all have terrific style and color sense and I always get inspiration from your makes! Keep it up!
Hello from Ft Wayne Indiana! Love your podcast and seeing your knitting projects. You ladies make such beautiful things. I drive down that way a few times a year as my daughter lives in Mason. I was wondering if you could tell me what yarn shops you recommend. I have Simply Socks here in Ft Wayne which is fantastic but I still like to go to other good shops. I did see Lambikins and thought of going there the next time I'm down that way. Anything you can tell me would be appreciated. Looking forward to more of your podcasts!
Thanks for watching! There is one in Springboro called Wooley Bully. I believe there is one in Englewood, which is north. Check Google in Cincinnati. I'm sure there are some there. Thanks again for watching!
Hint: if you are only looking to get the tote bags and not other souvenirs, rather than wait in that crazy line, head for the fleece sale. They sell the totes there and much smaller lines. I kind of liked it better when there wasn't a "Rhinebeck Sweater" that you saw coming and going. Half the fun of Rhinebeck is seeing all the amazing knitwear and being inspired or stopping people to ask if their knitwear was an available design or if they'd come up with it themselves. :)
Love you ladies! Always tune in, but lately, I've become frustrated with the amount of ads during your episodes. Do you have any control, or is there a setting you might be forgetting to use? I am asking because I really don't know, and maybe it can help. With all respect and knitterly ❤️
Thank you for your input. Some ads can be removed but we don’t have control of the content. On this episode for the first 24 hours no ads got removed so there were many. We did get to them and remove a bunch after the fact.
Fish leather is exactly what it sounds like: leather harvested from fish skin. But your buttons don't appear to contain any, so it's strange that she would put it on the card.
I mostly enjoyed the episode, seeing your finishes and WIPs. There seemed to be an overwhelming amount of advertisements. I think you were interrupted every 5 minutes!
Thanks for letting us know. It takes a while for UA-cam to insert the advertisements. I have to wait until they finish then go back and delete a bunch. I forgot to do that last night. Sorry. Don’t give up on us 😉

You do make a difference! I get so many wonderful ideas from you guys. I don't have any knitterly friends so you are my adopted knitting buddies ❤
Jennifer, Thanks for your sweet comments and glad to hear that we are your adopted knitting buddies. 😁🤗🧶🍷

Sounds great to find a halfway spot to meet up again sometime. The donegal yarn is perfect for the Letho sweater! 😀🧶🍷
Great podcast! Love all your knits and knowledge that you share.
Thank you so much!

Lori, good to meet you too! Thank you for your compliments on my wine pouring skills. 🤣 Cheers! 🧶🍷
Thank you for sharing your trip to Rhinebeck and all your beautiful knitting 🥰🙏

Oh thank you!
Love watching you all. Can’t wait to see all the sweaters that you finish with all that yarn 🧶.
Thank you for your sweet compliments and we will keep knitting as we have plenty of yarn. 😆🧶🍷

Maryann, It sounds like you were on a nice trip also! Thanks for your nice comments! 🧶🍷
I really looked forward to seeing your Rhinebeck recap. You all had great fun. Thanks for sharing.
Cecilia, We’re so glad you enjoyed our recap and we did have great fun! Thank you for your nice comments! 🤗🧶🍷
Thank you for another great episode. I love the Pom Pom magazine sweaters you have been knitting, they have been on my list for a bit!
Thank you for your nice comments. The Pom Pom magazines do have some nice patterns in them. 🧶🍷

Karen, Thanks for the helpful tip! 🧶🍷
Beautiful yarn, gorgeous projects and delightful photos of Rhinebeck. Another home run, ladies! 👍🏻☺️
Thank you for your nice comments! 😃🧶🍷
Oooooooo ladies, what lovely acquisitions 😍. Can’t wait to see what you make. Thanks for sharing ,as always ,thoroughly enjoyed it.❤🧶
Lorraine, Glad you enjoyed our episode and thanks for watching. We are looking forward to knitting our acquisitions! 🧶🍷
Tammi, your Cinnamon and Bourbon sweater is stunning! I love your color combination best of all the ones I’ve seen. Very inspiring, as usual! 😊
Thank you for your nice compliments! Cheers! 🧶🍷
Loved seeing your beautiful sweaters! Seeing upcoming plans and your Rhinebeck recap and haul! ❤
Tammy, We’re so glad you enjoyed our knitting fun! Thanks for your nice compliments! 😃🧶🍷

Watching you in Southern California. On my way to Paso Robles tomorrow!
Great podcast!
I hope you get to drink some delicious wine!
Yes on the Cinnamon and Bourbon sweater knit a long. Letho has been on my hit list for too long.
Kim, Thanks for your input. We all plan to make the cinnamon and bourbon sweater so a knit along makes sense. 🧶🍷
My friends and I, also, bought the Cape May yarn for the Ursa sweater. It was stunning! Just by looking at the pattern, I wouldn’t have thought to knit it, but the yarn dyer’s mod was beautiful. ❤
The yarn dyers mod was beautiful and so was the yarn. That’s great that you bought the yarn also. Thanks for sharing. 😀🧶🍷

Thanks Cheryl! I wonder if Cape May Fiber Co. is just an online order business. It sounds like a beautiful place to live. 🧶🍷
It was a pleasure meeting you at Pick Up Every Stitch.
Judith, It was a pleasure meeting you too!! Happy knitting! 🧶🍷
Looks like a great time. Janet I feel your pain!! It’s always rough when a sweater misbehaves but you will be sporting that very soon!!
Susan, Thanks for your kind words. I’ve hit some rough patches but sure I will love my sweaters when they are finished. 🤗🧶🍷
So fun to see you ladies again! Beautiful makes! Janet, I had a run last year like you’re having…frustrating for sure but like with anything it passed!!!
Jenn, Thanks for the encouragement! Like you said, this too shall pass. Cheers! 🧶🍷

Hello ladies, great podcast. I had to find out what fish leather was: leather made from fish skin🐟
Thanks for the information and your nice compliments! 🧶🍷

That is a funny name for some pottery buttons. It is nice to know that there is actually leather made out of fish skin. Thanks for sharing! 🧶🍷
It looked to me like perhaps the material they are attached to could be fish leather.

@@woolandwine don’t worry about that. As I said, I do enjoy your podcast.
