Ive been wanting a spooky deamon team in killteam since compendium had the various daemons suck eggs and never get better for the years killteams been around This team seems OP and a lot when all i really wanted all along was having a flamer of tzeentch be a leader unit and have some cool fun chaos effects for daemons but oh well... Op op daemon spawns are cool too I just wish it didn't immediately make people think youre specifically only playing them because theyre OP OP I just want capable non nurgle daemons, nurgle gets the good stuff since theyre popular but everything else gets shafted as a result
Agreed. Each model, essentially has around 10-11 wounds with their feel no pain. And they have as many models as a Geller. A good player will literally have no problem winning both board control and operatives killed.
With the sheer amount of teams released now this is going to happen more and more. In order for the team to not be a copy of another they are having to come up with more and more unique rules. Which eventually leads to breaking game mechanics. Only so many 10 man squads with comms, medic etc can be made. Teams now are being released as overpowered or severely underpowered
It just seems like buffs on top of buffs. Mutants get a new data sheet with better attack AND survivability AND they completely heal AND feel no pains AND they get Space Marine chapter tactics bonuses AND rhet can be healed again anywhere on the map AND get mutated again AND they heal again AND ... AND... AND... But they can't do missions actions, so it's all good.
I was playing chaos cults yesterday for the first time and got slapped hard 😂 really struggled to keep the balance on enough normal dudes to perform mission actions and big ones to go in and fight. Hieroteck circle stayed back all game and overwathed the hell out of me 😅
They won a recent WHW tournament as well. Really don't understand what is happening with play testing these recent releases. Do they only test narrative missions maybe?!
Kill Team balance is actually the best it's ever been, barring the two most recent releases (Gallowfall and Ashes of Faith), which haven't had a chance to get buffed or nerfed yet. Outside of those, there are like 2 top-tier teams (Gellerpox, Void-Dancers) and 2 bottom-tier teams (Warpcoven and Exaction Squad), but everything else is fairly balanced. Have faith. There's a balance dataslate coming some time this week, and previous balance dataslates have a pretty good track record.
it's really just cults. All the other "S-Tier" teams are strong, but do not feel OP. All teams can beat all teams, all teams can be good if you are skilled and all teams require a decent amount of skill to beat another fairly skilled player. The exception being Chaos Cult, where a 14 yr old can beat a GT winner.
@@slemph2214 Gellerpox, Goats, Chaos Kult, Harlequins, Circle - against all of these teams, in my experience, to really have an effective chance against them, you have to hope that your opponent makes a blunder. All of those teams above play super dominant if your opponent doesn't make any big mistakes and positions himself well.
@@TheBasCast There are several really bad matchups for all of teams you've mentioned EXCEPT chaos cult. Especially Circle - it's not even a S tier band, in most tierlist's definition. Gellerpox can still be countered really hard, same with Void Dancers - but there are no reliable asnwers for now against overtuned toolkit of Chaos Cult
I love how the models are designed. They are fun to paint.

The solution is just more playtesting before release.

Not being able to score points is a pretty big tradeoff if you ask me. The full heal on mutate and +5 FNP could definitely be tweaked, though.

Yeah, UA-cam, it's definetly a WoW video
Still haven’t played it myself, but I’ve heard Phobos plays pretty well into them. Need further testing!

They got overpowered kill teams like this but they wont buff the battle sisters compendium team. They NEED it.
Sounds like a community wide skill issue to me 😏
these guys are not on Wahapedia, you guys know where i can find their rules?
Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
I'll lose with them soon, I'm sure

Kill team balance seems to be just… way out of whack recently…

@@patelliott8282 yes, I agree. If you ignore the two MAJOR RECENT RELEASES, it is balanced…. But… that’s the problem, it includes those two releases.
I don't know folks... Kill Team seems to be falling apart at the moment in terms of team strengths.
