Pezzo coinvolgente, in bilico fra blues e jazz. Occhi chiusi, lasciandosi avvolgere dalla musica e dalla voce calda di Ella Fitzgerald.
E se domenica o lunedì dovesse anche arrivare Lui... ♫♪♥♥♥♫♪
When the mellow moon begins to beam,
Ev'ry night I dream a little dream,
And of course Prince Charming is the theme,
The he for me.
Although I realize as well as you
It is seldom that a dream comes true,
ForTo me it's clear
That he'll appear.
Some day he'll come along,
The man I love
And he'll be big and strong,
The man I love
And when he comes my way
I'll do my best to make him stay.
He'll look at me and smile
I'll understand ;
And in a little while,
He'll take my hand ;
And though it seems absurd,
I know we both won't say a word
Maybe I shall meet him Sunday
Maybe Monday, maybe not ;
Still I'm sure to meet him one day
Maybe Tuesday will be my good news day
He'll build a little home
Just meant for two,
From which I'll never roam,
Who would - would you ?
And so all else above
I'm waiting for the man I love.
ELLA FITZGERALD! Ella had the most beautiful voice I have ever heard.
I loved her voice when I was a young boy of ten years old; now 50 years later I still find her voice and beautiful singing touching and beyond comparison. Ella had a God-given beautiful voice. She gave the world much joy.
My grandma met her first husband to this song.
Of all the singers of this ballad, Ella rules!! By far the best version of this song. Nice and slow, easy and deep, dripping of sweetness, owning the entire song....
What a voice! I absolutely love the timeless Ella Fitzgerald.
The incomparable Ella ! The lady with the velvet voice!
For me she's the only one, I love her already for 60 years.
I love this song so much and the way Ella sings it with those deep, sultry and sexy tones is beautiful! I liked the version sung by Diana Ross in Lady Sings the Blues, but when I heard Ella singing this - there aren't words to describe. I love music anyway, but voices and music touch my heart. He'll look at me and he'll smile - I'll understand (how sexy and emotive) wow!!

my favorite version of this song
Bulantıdan geldim müthiş bir şarkıymış
Just think of how blessed we are to be able to hear this woman sing.
Vine porque encontré un fragmento de la letra en La nausea de Jean Paul Sartre. Gran sorpresa.

Adorable performannce of Mrs Fitzgerald impulsed by an instigating orchestral arrangement.

..led by Buddy Bregman?!
Ella in 'reverie romantique' adorning Gershwin whilst inducing wonderment in us all. Pure, dripping class!
Yes Lawd! I named my late DAUGHTER after The Late great Ella🎵🎶🎼🎤.
The first time I heard this song was when Ekaterina (Katia) Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov skated a professional pair's artistic program to this song. They really brought this song to life, but they were gold medal winning skaters and in love in real life, so how could they not.
Same here. It was heartbreaking when Sergei passed soo young.
Legends never die.
Extremely beautiful, probably the best song of Ella.
I dedicate this to you, Lady Sarah!
ELLA FITZGERALD! "THE FIRST LADY OF SONG." Ella was generally recognized as the best of the best in female singers. "The man I love," is perhaps my favorite song that Ella ever did! It is a hauntingly simply beautiful ballad! ELLA sings it in her inimitable heartfelt beautiful voice. This is a classic classic wonderful song. Ella's voice is timeless from generation to generation!
wow absolutely stunning. I loved the Billie Holiday version, but this takes the cake.
Lady of song miss Ella Fitzerald

UFFFF.........Ella, cada día cantas mejor. Dios se hizo mujer y nos regaló a nosotros pobres mortales con la perfección,

ooh, so tranquil
Best version! Barbara Streisand's version is a close second.
it's good but Sarahs version is a little better.
You should listen to Sarah Vaughan's version.
I prefer Ella's Sarah had too much vibrato.
THE ONLY ONE.
I love this song too, I'm waiting for the man I love.
Splendida Ella
