I started counseling 4 months ago it has helped. Every Saturday and sunday I go to the gym with a buddy. I'm also looking into those free zoom support groups too.
Slowly but surely destroying me day by day...there is no escaping these awful feelings/dreams...it's locked on 24/7 & will not i repeat will not let go.
My friends say they have panic attacks like everyday but they don't realize how serious actual panic attacks are... Or how often I can't breath because of them.
There are many therapeutic approaches that have been proven effective. Most therapists recommend CBT, but there are many more approaches. We will create a video on the topic soon.

I found this to be very helpful. However, the categories of performance and observation doesn’t make sense to me. They seem to go more hand in hand than interaction and observation. If you are performing you are most likely being observed.
There is no specific category for this feature in SAD. It seems as you are experiencing unwanted thoughts and feelings you can't seem to control. Acceptance of thoughts and feelings is an important step of getting better.
It has been found that social anxiety is situation bound, you might find a couple of situation you don't feel socially anxious. Those might give you some hints about what your social anxiety is connected to.

Glad it is helpful! It was important to us to work with scientifically tested explanations, since there is so much pseudo-information out there.

You might want to consider seeking professional help. It must be hard living under such constant pressure.

You are right. There is a common misconception about what panic attacks really are.
Is there a cure? because sometimes I see my future so blurred and isolated.

This subgroup is actually pretty big! Most people fear public speaking.
This makes my life harder to live.

Keep in mind that a certain level of social fears is a normal feature of being human. When the problems are excessive we speak of social anxiety.
