    the fact that you were able to help others out just like Simba would have wanted you to is just so heartwarming for me. I cannot imagine the amount of pain and sadness it was to do this, but i promise you that when that lizard grows up, they will love you forever.
    Simba really was the bestest boy.

    I'm glad that you're opening yourself up to get your new babies. Your relationship with Simba was the closest that I've ever seen and I hope that at least one of your new babies can form the same kind of attachment with you.

    I’m glad to see the healing process has begun, you may never get over the loss of simba but over time the pain will lessen. Can’t wait to see the little ones get bigger and start seeing them do things like tug a war like simba did with you. Congratulations on the little ones though 😊❤❤❤

    Well congratulations! They are both so beautiful, and different. I think Simba would be happy that you are moving on to care for two little souls, and giving them a great life like you gave him. I'm so glad you are doing well and have a new project.

    They are so precious! You can't possibly name them until you know who them long enough to know who they are and know what names suit them! I know they will never replace Simba, but I do hope they can help you at least mend the hole his absence has left. They are incredibly adorable as babies are...and both have some lovely marking IMHO. PLEASE take care, and thank for everything you do.

    Congratulations on your two new babies 💖 they look adorable! I'm curious, and forgive me if i've missed an update/video on this already, but where is Nala? How is she doing since Simba's passing? Do you think she would interact well with the babies? Idk if that is safe or not since she might see them as little prey LOL... i was just curious. Still keeping you in my prayers 🙏🏼

    You are soo welcome....your babies are soooo cute....mine is a wild caught straight in from Africa at 8 days old..she was sooo tiny..not even 3 inches long. I'm trying to find out why both of my girls are the color etc of the males a typically? They even push out their tubes when they potty like the males...but vet assured me I'm both cases that my other girl who passed and this girl are females. The eyes are more rounded like the females but the color pattern and shade of color is exactly like a male
    ...darker with a almost fake eye looking design going back from the eyes. It's this unusual in females?

    sorry for your loss I know that must hurt and feel for you. were you able to determine the reason why he passed I mean did you get an autopsy done or necropsy done? I'm just curious because it seemed to be that he was on the man last episode I saw a couple of weeks ago he kind of was shocked to hear that he passed. the curious person of me always wants to know why something happens I mean if it's just old age that's understandable because they only live about 10 to 15 years tops anyway I know water monitor is only live about 10 or 12 years kenan's Slinky is about 10 now so he doesn't expect thinking to live too long Couple years at the most maybe 3 or 4 if he's lucky. symbol was an icon of the monitor lizards just like Slinky is for Kenan lily and his forum Sherry Wolf at Wolf's world I know so many people out there that have the monitors of one kind or another and they're just Such intelligent lizards inquisitive curious One of a kind animals if you can get to know them and read their behaviors they're going to be very entertaining and fulfilling as a pet. again I'm sorry for your loss I hope this new monitor helps fulfill your needs for another pet like Si I can't wait to see what happens and how you train them up or her all of them you mentioned what sex it is yet or if you have sex . mba

    No more egg feeding or surgeries.

    • @Sarydormi
      @Sarydormi 18 днів тому

      Well, if I recall correctly the egg feeding wasn't done by the keeper, the male just ate the female's eggs while they were kept together. And the second happened because of the first. So, imo, better say "please no accidents this time".

    Do you mean captive hatched? I would think a captive bred would be more than $30

    • @AztecCroc
      @AztecCroc 18 днів тому +1

      No? Captive bred are usually cheaper than captive hatched, at least once breeding them in captivity becomes something a large enough amount of people can do reliably. Wild caught reptiles are cheap because it's just find the animal, chuck it in a sack, and then sell it. Captive hatching wild eggs requires stupid amounts of care to prevent them from becoming damaged or unviable. The only reason captive bred reptiles are more expensive is when it's hard to breed them in captivity or when a single person or small group of people have an effective monopoly and can charge whatever they want.
      We can breed them in captivity fairly easily, they just need an appropriate amount of space mostly, it's just that since wild caught ones are already so cheap few people actually bother to do so unless they're the type to care about having them not being taken from the wild.

    • @AztecCroc
      @AztecCroc 18 днів тому +1

      Savannah Monitors are not dogs, you can't just adopt an adult and expect it to warm up to you. If you want one that you can interact with like he did with Simba you need to raise it from very young.
