    Years ago my Mom covered the kitchen shelves with linoleum. Her and my Dad went out and bought a large enough piece of linoleum flooring which she cut to fit all of the shelves and below the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. My Mom felt it was much easier to clean and when it was below the sinks, if any of them leaked, it wouldn’t ruin the wood.

    When I heard your comment, “It’s a pantry not a museum exhibit!” I laughed out loud!! I don’t really like our pantry getting messy so needed this reminder to not go overboard.
    The lazy Susan dedicated to the coffee items was perfect! Great job as always!! You are such a blessing to the families you help!

      Haha, glad I could give you a good laugh with the "museum exhibit" comment! Pantries can be a challenge sometimes.

    I love your video. I simply can't live without "Hydrogen Peroxide". It removes blood and many other stains. A few other products that I use frequently are: Dawn dish detergent, fragrance free dryer sheets, color catcher (either brand), and a spray stain remover. I like to go camping and I keep the lint from my dryer to use as fire starters.

      @CynthiaBrown-wb2pm Glad you liked it! 😊 Your favorites list, including hydrogen peroxide and Dawn, is spot-on for tackling stains. Also, using dryer lint as a fire starter? That’s a brilliant camping hack. Thanks for sharing these great tips with us!

    I had a leak under my sink once, so now I have plastic bins and plastic cutting boards under all my sinks. They catch the water leaks when the bin is under the pipes and minimizes the damage to the wooden floor. I put them under my bathroom sinks too. Leaks are inevitable!

      @laurahicks8084 Plastic bins and cutting boards under sinks? Sounds like you've turned your kitchen into a DIY plumbing workshop! Way to innovate and protect your floors.

    Getting rid of tape might help to use a low heat gun to soften it up. It helps to get labels off for crafting so it might help for tape as well.

      That’s a great idea! I will have to use that in the future!😎

    I noticed that when you were organizing the kitchen cabinets for the herbs, you put the smaller bottles on top. I am a senior citizen and I cannot reach the top shelf. I am not allowed to use a step stool, so if I am going to use any of the products, I need to have them in a box type organizer so that I can get to the items. The same for the first aide products. They need boxed and in a clear box, and labeled so that I don't forget where they are. Possibly, they might go in the bathroom instead of the kitchen. Medications should go in a cool, dry place. It may be too hot next to the stove so another location might be better.

      @reneeshull  10 місяців тому +2

      @CynthiaBrown-wb2pm Thank you for the insightful suggestions! A great idea to make sure to keep essential items easily accessible and well-labeled, and find cooler spots for medications. Your advice is truly appreciated and will guide better organization for everyone.❤️

    A question....if you are on the 9 month cruise, how are you able to record these cleanings?

    • @reneeshull
      @reneeshull  10 місяців тому +3

      @spicybrown75 I doubled the amount of work I did prior to the cruise so I would have enough video footage to edit while on the cruise.
