Could you try using the ultra graphics setting? I've heard that in the Chinese version of MLBB, ultra graphics are already available for all skins. The difference between high and ultra graphics is noticeable in the effects, whereas on the global server, both settings look the same.
Not sure if it is the same, but the chinese empress is always depicted to have a stern voice like this, i watch chinese drama since a kid and yep every wuzetian in every show sounds like that
