Akane-banashi probably won't be popular unless you're really into any and all aspects of Japanese culture, as the story is about a super niche thing even in japan (at least that's the vibe I'm getting). Personally I'm enjoying it so far.
Id also recommend a series called 'Imaginary', I recently picked it up and it's fantastic. There's only 1 volume out rn; vol.2 will be out in may of next year
Vol 1 was deece and I believe we got vol 2 or its on the way. I have seen Imaginary I may even have a copy of it.
I am pretty sure that The Witch and The Knight Will Survive is only a 3 volume series since it was cancelled so the next volume will be the last one. I hate it when a series just gets started building the world and showing the depth of the characters to only get cancelled before it even had a chance to thrive.

Sad to see that Square Enix is keeping up with the bad printings. If they do this to The Apothecary Diaries I’m gonna cry… Those Case Study spines would’ve driven me nuts too! Is there any extra content inside the covers like on Bungo Stray Dogs for example? If not I’m gonna go for the digital release of it instead (most publishers skip content like that and back covers for their digital volumes which sucks). Great video and pickups otherwise! I used your discount on Sci-fier to pick up The Promised Neverland Boxset. Excited for it to arrive.

quick idea of what its about - Constantly gauging the roles of others, Hatori Matsuzaki has always been the main character, so it's only fitting that she be the heroine for her crush and childhood friend, Rita Terasaka. Even though he has girlfriends, she is convinced that she is the only "right" person for him and that they will eventually be together.
This is the narrative Hatori has followed her entire life. However, her whole world is thrown into chaos when Rita begins paying attention to their classmate Miho Adachi, a plain and unassuming wallflower, and they soon start dating. Hatori begins to question the nature of her reality: has she been the side character the whole time?
Sounds interesting may have to look in to getting a volume see what I think ☺️

Yes! We have the Novels (which are insanly good) then we have the hardcover versions of all the comics and then the trades of the ones which are not in HC yet

What is the girl from the other side about I’ve been seeing it and it looks so beautiful been curious about it
okay so here is the lowdown on it -- In a medieval-like world where a destructive curse spreads by touch and turns people into black, skull-faced monsters called "Outsiders", the "inside" inhabited by people is shrinking every year. Merciless purges of people who are suspected to have been in contact by Outsiders are performed by the soldiers in service of the king, and their bodies are abandoned to the "outside". Shiva, a six-year old girl, has been abandoned in the outside woods by an old woman she calls her "auntie". She is found by an Outsider who she starts to call "Teacher".
Teacher has been living in an abandoned house near an abandoned village for some years, and is different and more humanlike than the other Outsiders, even though he doesn't sleep or eat. The two start living as a makeshift family. However, Teacher can't recall his own past, and can't bring himself to tell Shiva - who every day cheerily waits for her auntie to come get her back - that she has been abandoned. The two can also never touch, as Teacher is afraid he'll spread the curse to Shiva.
There are also other Outsiders lurking in the forests who are interested in Shiva, call her "a soul" and would like to take her to their "mother" at the bottom of a lake. They are very different from Teacher, and make Teacher question everything he knows about the world. At the same time, soldiers from the inside are also looking for Shiva for some reason.
