I agree with everything you said while watching except i did love the original live version, not however the studio cut which makes me believe it will be much better on stage. Im not sure how it will appeal to the mainstream tv entertainment first time viewer/listener. The fact that its a bit basic and anthemic now might actually work for them and make it memorable. Been definitely getting into the songs catchiness more and more. The rap part is a let down though
