While leaving it made sure the actual entrance is closed...it appears as if there is no entrance...what a clever creature

Entrada falsa é para predadores, como as cobras etc. Muito interessante

Yes indeed. Looking at creation is like lightly scraping the surface of the lords mind and that's with a grain of salt.

The Cape penduline tit builds a nest with two chambers. One chamber is empty and is used to fool predators. The other chamber is used for the bird's eggs and young. The bird builds the nest in a hanging basket-like structure made of spider webs and plant fibers. The entrance to the nest is hidden by a flap of material. When the bird leaves the nest, it closes the flap to make it look like the nest is empty. This helps to protect the bird's eggs and young from predators.

But snakes can feel and smell the prey espceially if it is moving. I am sure the snake will stay there until the parent bird comes back or exit the nest.

@@rakelscada5576but snakes cannot enter in that chamber so birds are safe

@@scorpion1828 but if the snake see the opening, it can easily squeeze in that opening right? There is no such thing as 100 percent safe.

It appears as if there is an entrance, but that's the large entrance with no babies in it. The slit which is hidden is the actual entrance to the chamber where the babies are.
