In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion. - Комедії
Mike moved so slowly on that hoverboard that the seasons changed.
Mate… the earth has already been swallowed by the sun
But that music made it epic
Ha!
Nah just typical British weather
Continental drift shifted Britain a whole meter by the time Allen got those plates.
The tension as Mike Wozniak carries all the plates in his steady hoverboard adventure will never fail to make me laugh everytime
They had the perfect music for it.
I don't think 'steady' is a word i'd use to describe it.
@@seandowney6216
It looked like an old wool sock.
@@ThanenJ His mother-in-law makes all his ties.
9:18 - “oh hello” cracks me up every time. 😂😂😂
I love when I think, Ah, this guy is a genius, only to be proven wrong IMMEDIATELY by the person's execution of their idea. The dude who wrapped them in the tablecloth nearly had it.
I mean I do think is a good idea if executed propertly, he just didnt wrap it well enough. I personally feel like I would have put all the plates in it, wrapped it really tight and with a double knot, and then hold both end on my hands as I ride on the bike
@@Ariplaygames He just needed to turn it into a bag and toss it over his shoulder like Lee did. Also, I think Lee should have been penalized for breaking two plates, that should have been the risk reward of asking if he could juggle
@@mayonnnnnaise nah time stopped when all 18, in the sack, hit the table.
‘the dude’ 🤦🏽♀️
@@ellekay4758 i don't always catch people's names. what's wrong with dude? I'm a dude, you're a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, we're all dudes.
Mike Wozniak on the hoverboard is one of the most underrated moments on Taskmaster. Tick tock, total crush o’clock.
Believe it or not, I even bought this scene as a sticker for my Laptop. From Red Bubble, I think :-)
"mush mush mush. muuuush!"
mmmm hello
Mike on the hoverboard carrying 20 plates looked like the protagonist from a point-and-click adventure game half way through a puzzle.
2:16 Knowing Lee, and by his initial reply “yea”… you know he instantly had 10 quick witted jokes about Greg’s dead friend and decided against all of them. A true pro 😂👌🏻
You can see the gears in his head turning as he formulates several jokes simultaneously. It's almost like watching a chess grandmaster, thinking several steps ahead of his opponent.
At one point Mike looks like a highly inefficient thief having raided the kitchen section of Ikea! XD
Mike's delivery was super impressive! Not only did he stack all the plates while on a hoverboard, he did it in the rain. 😲👏👏👏
Deserved bonus pts for completing it with the hoverboard.
@@ApriliaRSA250 Why? It was one of the given transportation options. If you know how to use one of those. It's by far the fastest. You shouldn't get a bonus point for that.
absolute legend, flexes the jankiest transport and still slays it, flicks the water off plates like an OG hahaa I wish he was my gangster dad
@@uqs57bjuI think they meant figuratively.
I have no idea how a hoverboard is supposed to work. That Mike not only went for it but succeeded in respectable time is laudable.
The tires on that bike look ludicrously soft. I imagine it had sat folded and unloved in the back of some associate producer’s closet for years before being dragged out to be abused by 5 comedians.
With Jamali it looked like it was on the rim
From the number of people I see day to day making painful journeys on bikes with flat tyres and the seat slammed, I'm beginning to think we're doomed as a species. Bikes are pretty f***ing simple to understand. I'm suspending disbelief and saying that here they planned it to make it harder for the contestants. Please make it be that.
Mike's absolute commitment to doing the funny thing - god he's amazing.
Absolute casserole.
I loved this gang, but Mike has to be my favourite contestant ever, or at least in the top 5... He's just beyond excentric and witty and I love his Dickens-character style!
“Absolute casserole down there”
I’ve never laughed so hard in my life.
@@chrisjones5411 Omg yes, and his face when he dislodged it! We almost didn't make it out of that conversation alive... XD
Iain has to be the in top 5 simply because of the responses to the failed attempts. The best being:. Can't touch the bucket, did that, can't touch the sand, did that, can't leave the room, ********, might as well do that.
This was a great series. Up there with Acaster/Wang/Godliman. I get a little annoyed with Lee on this series, but Sarah’s constant fear that’s she’s somehow screwing up makes up for it. Charlotte is so freaking sweet and charming it hurts.
Russell Howard was the best guest for me
If a young adult ever asked me what life as an adult was like, I'd just tell them to watch this show.
To hold true there's fewer varied prize tasks, and the information is never *all* on the card... but alittle bit, maybe- for some adults ;)
Pros of being an adult:
You can eat car whenever you want
You can have 30 chicken nuggets for dinner
Cons of being an adult:
You have to buy the cake
Eating that many chicken nuggets for dinner is a bad idea and there was a reason your parents wouldn't let you as a kid
Charlotte Ritchie and Mel Giedroyc will remain my favorite contestants of all time due to their infectious joy and optimism.
“Ooh gang!”
SAME
Imagine a team of Charlotte Ritchie, Mel Giedroyc and Liza Tarbuck
@@cazzabojangles with Mike making them sugary tea to calm down after the tasks
Charlotte: "Wheeee-he-he-he-he-heee!"
Jamali: *_[Crash! Smash!]_*
Lee: "I knew that would happen..."
Mike: "I'm so soggy... I'll go and do all that. It's not your fault."
Sarah: "I mean life's for living, right?"
Honestly just impressed by the pillow spinning
This was when Mike established himself as an S tier contestant. One of the absolute best!
the most impressive thing this time had to be the pillow spin
“I feel bold as brass in this get-up!”
Oh, Woz, you are too pure for this world 😂😂
omg the tension watching mike, when he delivered the plates, i think i said to myself, out loud "oh that's lovely" in some sort of golf-announcer voice
I can't be the only one who thinks Mike looks really adorable with that helmet.
I can't believe no one dragged the destination table over to where the plates were.
Alex was a destination, they could ask Alex to hop on a scooter, drive to plates and give him entire stack then speed off hoping he would drop everything bcs task ended when he recieved all plates.
This is what I thought! Use that first 3 minutes to move the tables?
I can’t believe Charlotte didn’t put the whole stack down her dungarees
@@saharahamilton728 they had to deliver to Mike
when i watched this episode i literally was like. if no one uses the hoverboard i will be sad. and then mike wozniak pulled through.
As he always did.
Mike talking to his hoverboard to get it going was the best part of all this
Any day Mike Wozniak appears is a good day haha
Tick tock, it's Woz o'clock!
Something about watching it absolutely piss it down on Mike as he slowly creeps along sends me every time
Sarah's hair is really stunning. It's like a lion's mane.
We not even gonna mention the beautiful panavia tornado in background?
Edit: looked it up, apparently that particular tornado served in the gulf war. It was named MiG eater since they thought it had destroyed a MiG-29 (one of the most advanced Russian aircrafts at the time), but it was later noted that it was just some French plane (Mirage) parked on the ground
Fun fact! This was originally an idea taskmaster NZ came up with but didn't think was good enough.
guess they were wrong, huh
They were too busy playing in that sewage filled pond.
Watching her ride the bike at 1:32 was adorable
Oooh! I really like this task, so glad it's a full task video. This task introduced me to how effortlessly cool Mike is, I love his performances.
My favourite bit about this video is how they deliver an edit to show the task, to then have the task start where the exact same shots are shown 20 seconds later. Top notch editing that
Honestly, Mike should have gotten a bonus point for completing the task in the rain.
Alex was a destination, so I would ask Alex to hop on a scooter, drive to plates and give him entire stack then speed off hoping he would drop everything bcs task ended when he recieved all plates.
exactly. Move Alex, and possibly his wobbly table towards the plates then just pass them right along.
Charlotte had overalls... the perfect plate container had she chosen to use them. At least for the big ones, as they were too big to slide down the legs.
That pillow trick was such a nice extra
The whole Mike tension thing at the end when he came off the board for a second. I nearly died. I was so impressed he made it with all the plates unbroken.
I think I would've taken the bike and drove 18 rounds without stopping, grabbing one plate at the time. Using the table cloth is a great idea tho.
Banging on my desk table as an applause for that man at the end. Rain, hoverboard, fell off and then back on. Bravo! Lol
To be fair, the pillow thing was almost as impressive as Mike not dying with the stack of wet plates on the wiggly board.
I would love to see a task with Joe Thomas and Charlotte Ritchie.
They have such a similar vibe and IDK why
They were in a show called Fresh Meat together!
The bicycle tires needed air. That's my takeaway from this episode.
I’ve seen this a few times and just realized both that they only needed to ride something when carrying plates (not to get to them), AND that they could have moved Alex and his table before starting.
I immediately thought about moving Alex to each table then handing him the plates. Surprised one person didn’t try that with the 3 minutes of prep time
That was a well deserved bonus point
Lee as a delivery man: "Here's your new TV, just sign here first please."
*Hulk smashes TV into the ground*
"Not my problem mate."
3 minutes to move Alex to all the plates before time starts. And you can move Alex even after you deliver some of the plates to him.
For those of you that love a little Wozniak, I recommend the podcast he does with a couple friends: Three Bean Salad. Start from the beginning though. It makes precious little sense otherwise.
thank you for uploading the full task. nothing else matters
The pillow spinning was actually the most impressive feat.
Jamali the ultimate ring-bearer at any wedding
Jamali was one step away from greatness, if he wrapped the plates in tablecloth and then walked the tablecloth over to alex (hes not touching the plates!) then that would of been way easier but way less hilarious compared to seeing the plates drop one by one haha
he also couldve just tied it a little better/more and wouldve easily been in the lead
While watching Mike Wozniak move plates from A to B by hoverboard, Irritating Kid pops up. “What you’re thinking, there’s a Small Business for that!”
I wish we had quality shows like this in the US
A task of "who can fall asleep quickest" would actually be interesting.
If a postman brings my package to my door and smashes it on his way uo the garden path, I wouldn't consider it as being delivered unbroken.
Mike on that hoverboard is too funny
Seeing Woz struggle to pilot that thing brought back images of Johnny Vegas standing on that wheeled rubber boat trying to propel it by wafting the air with oars in his outstretched arms, and humping the air with his hips.
the pillow-spinning was impressive!
When I was a kid, I was made for this task. Easy two laps on the bike. One if pressed.
Jamali had the right idea...until he decided to put them on his back
Edit: Also...Almost Lee...Almost
But Lee won.
I love Mike so very much.
I think that’s the most anxiety I’ve ever felt watching this show
The serotonin you sold me was more than perfect
Top gear production for this show. Neat
Use scooter, push tables together, wrap plates in tablecloth, and tie in a bundle. Hold the knot on handles and walk with one foot on the scooter.
That was some pretty epic pillow spinning
Ooh, that pillow spinning was so cool
Really love that the Jamali clip is included even though it makes no sense with this context
Top class showmanship too.
I've one of those hoverboard things. Mess around on it for a few minutes and you pretty much get the hang of it. They're a lot of fun to whiz around on :)
Question: Where the bike tires underinflated on purpose? They seems to be down quite a bit.
It's interesting that they all return to Alex at the end of the three minutes, they're probably just used to being near him when time starts. They could have started by the plates.
Love it - this reminds me of Top Gear
loved the gas engine sound from an electric scooter.
I applaud the judgment.
Had to give a like for the pillow spin!!!
He could’ve just wrapped it and then carry/hold it normally😭😭 Why wrap it around your waist omg
In Charlotte's defense, at 36 years old I went roller skating for the first time in about 25 years and it was fun in a way I hadn't felt for a very long time.
Surprisingly, noone tried to move Alex.
nobody thought of of bringing Alex closer to the plates and then bringing the plates a tiny bit of distance to Alex
justice for the man driving the swegway
Mike Wozniak is the man I want to be come New Years resolution time
I can only imagine the horrendous accident if Mike had fallen over
When they designed this show they were thinking "How do we get the most inept people together that fail at every mundane task and basic planning, that will deliver spectacular clown performances, without being too obvious? OH I KNOW! COMEDIANS!"
01:21 01:32 03:21
I can't stop watching
that pillow trick tho
okay the spinning pillow shit was actually fuckin epic
I would just carry the plates by the table cloth
Put all the plates in the table cloth twist the ends tie them together in a double knot wear them as a purse each side in one turn on the scooter
I love the 80 music
this episode is missing "the banana barrier" lateral thinking
Put plates on the board. Carry board.
"If it works it works-- Ah, it doesn't work."
Me, when Jamali tied the tablecloth to his body and then proceeded to drop two
tick tock its plate o'clock!
When are you going to start releasing full episodes/seasons again?
I thought I saw Lee remove plates from the table cloth that were already broken, besides the one that slipped out on arrival.
Bro just stack the plates and wrap them up in the table cover and carry them on the bike to him.
Did you deflated the bike tyres to make it harder? 🤣👍
Nice Phantom in the back
Panavia Tornado
This show is both thoroughly entertaining and the fall of civilization.
you could have had alex move the plates for you (or the tables) before the time started
