Possibly the first helmet comm video I've laughed during "run your fingers up the inside, find the spot, finger a little bit, you'll hear her when she lets go" 😂
Have you noticed a difference in mic volume between the boom mic and the wired one? My bold is WAY different between the two. I'm assuming it's because they buffer the boom for open face helmet use?
The button mic was lower volume and more background noise. The boom mic is not directly attached to the inside of the helmet, so I believe that separation may be the benefit. The mics themselves may well be designed differently. However, one of my homies runs the button mic on a different helmet and it’s pretty good. But… I’ve been wrong before.
Can you send a picture of how you got the left check pack back on?? It’s I have the same helmet and cannot figure out where to run the wires so the cheek pad will slide back into place.
@@JaySorsby1 yes sir its sticking out to far and hurting my ears really bad i think imma cut alittle of the foam so they sit deeper in the helmet i dont have this problem with shoei rfsr
@@samca671 I was thinking I might use some targeted heat to remove a bit of material on my left side. I have solder iron I don’t trust that might fit the bill.
I just talk to myself and listen to the voices in my head.

Do you have Instagram? If so, send “cheek pad” to my DM and I’ll do what I can to help you out.
Did you have any issue with the speaker sticking to far out and hurting your ears ?
Definitely with the spacers. Without them I’m good for about 7 hrs. My left ear starts to get a bit sore past 8-9 hours.
@@JaySorsby1 thanks for the reply bro ride safe !!

When I upgrade helmets again I'm going cardo. Built-in coms is cool, but i don't get to connect to more than one helmet.
The Edge also records audio.
@@JaySorsby1 now we're talkin'. Keep the gopro's waterproof.
