- In this video I take a brief look at the installation method I am using in BS7671 and what to consider when installing in a stud wall with 100mm of insulation and what reference method.
thank you very much, this is the best way to showing the people who haven't done any practical. this is make cense when we talk about cable surrounded by thermal in different installation method.
This video is exactly what I needed thank you!
Awesome, thank you 👊
You say there’s not much current flowing through the circuit .just bedside lights etc. When I was doing my apprenticeship and I still apply that now is you must always allow for the fact that the central heating could fail and someone could plug a electric fire in.. in fact I have seen this happen very often
please create same video about other methods please
Thanks, useful video. I'm going to run a fused spur from the ring main into a utility cupboard, for pluging in vacuum to charge etc. There is an uninsulated stud wall covered in plasterboard. My plan is just to knock a hole near noggins and drill through the centre and run the cable up that way (max 2.5 T&E). Would that be ok or does it need to run through any type of conduit? I have no access to clip or run conduit so considering surface mount if that has to be done.
It would be hard to comment without actually seeing the job. My advice would be to get a qualified electrician round to take a look.
I know it sounds like a cop-out, but I have to be careful with the advice I give.
Rubbish sound quality
Sorry I'm looking at getting a wireless microphone, but they are £250 😳
