Discover S.Carey thanks to someone at Spotify's ability to programme a great algorithm! Caught the show in Manchester, UK in Sept 2018. Awake at 1am some eighteen months later. I've been listening to music for over thirty years (I'm 44 years old) and still have the ability to be surprised by how something new can be so heart-achingly wonderful!
NPR's Tiny Desk was next to play. I almost did not allow it to play. I was in a different musical mood. I've played that Tiny Desk episode so many times with Sean Carey. Just love his music now.
I hope I captured the lyrics correctly -- Yellowstone S. Carey And in the past I know that we've ended on a sour tone I dreamt that we had packed the car and ended up in Yellowstone Refrain: And I, I wanna see the fortress under the willow tree And time, and time will tell all of what you need to know from me Safe's the kind of word that makes a love grow old and die I knelt, I wept, the grass was blue caramel, and the well went dry And we should lose our way before we lose our minds Lose our minds Repeat Refrain Bridge: I say, we leave at sun up Meet me where the map ends (S. Carey sings) - I want you ready in the morning And the paper-sky is warmin' (Sophie Peyten) sings - When I, will this Know I'm like a painting It's what you need to know from me When I, for this Know I'm like a painting It's what you need to know from me Well I don't mind for this Know I'm like a painting It's what you need to know from me And I don't mind for this Know I'm like a paiting It's what you need to know from me
Fantastic. I bought the CDs Hundred Acres and Range of Light and they've been playing pretty much nonstop for a month. Then saw Bon Iver in Portland Oregon in May 2018 with Sean on drums and backup vocals. I'm thinking now Justin Vernon should being doing backup for Sean, with all respect for Justin who is the greatest.

I hope I captured the lyrics correctly --
Yellowstone
S. Carey
And in the past I know that we've ended on a sour tone
I dreamt that we had packed the car and ended up in Yellowstone
Refrain:
And I, I wanna see the fortress under the willow tree
And time, and time will tell all of what you need to know from me
Safe's the kind of word that makes a love grow old and die
I knelt, I wept, the grass was blue caramel, and the well went dry
And we should lose our way before we lose our minds
Lose our minds
Repeat Refrain
Bridge:
I say, we leave at sun up
Meet me where the map ends
(S. Carey sings) -
I want you ready in the morning
And the paper-sky is warmin'
(Sophie Peyten) sings -
When I, will this
Know I'm like a painting
It's what you need to know from me
When I, for this
Know I'm like a painting
It's what you need to know from me
Well I don't mind for this
Know I'm like a painting
It's what you need to know from me
And I don't mind for this
Know I'm like a paiting
It's what you need to know from me
Absolutely amazing!
