ill be honest, i was a bit iffy on the song at first but after a couple listens im already obsessed lol. though i do have a very wide taste in music, so i dont care much if its heavy or not (even if i prefer heavy). amazing song imo but i understand how some people may not like it, spencers clean vocals are amazing though :)))

This is a bit different for Ice Nine Kills but I am all for it, shows the range they can do and am loving it! I, as you, prefer the heavy but like a very wide range and this was amazing and shows off more of his skill/talent with his voice!!

Listening to the intro riff & breakdown for the first time, (which reminds me of BMTH - Obey I might add) I couldn't help but feel that this deserved to be more heavy because the riff had so much potential for something disgusting. But for what it is, I liked it.. INK is one of the bands where I really don't mind them having fully clean songs, we get them occasionally, like Grave Mistake, Savages, Love Bites etc. And I'm okay with that.
I'm just hoping we do at least get a couple of songs that have that typical INK theatrical metalcore sound that hopefully didn't leave along with Justin.
So glad someone else thought it sounded like Obey a bit.

My first band opened for these guys 15 years ago at a community rec center bowling alley show in my crappy little hometown. There were like, 10 bands on the bill and we played so early that only the sound guy and 5 of our friends even saw us perform. Nobody had heard of Ice Nine Kills at that point. I don't think Last Chance to Make Amends had even come out yet. It's just kinda crazy to see how far they've come. I was in another band years later that opened for Gemini Syndrome before anyone knew who the fuck they were too. But I've also opened for washed up has-been losers like Saliva. So it's a bit of a wash. Lol.
Solid track! Though based on the two tone aesthetic, I totally thought they would've had an Ash Costello feature. That would've been cool

Watched it on release day love it but he has done better, i wonder if it has to do with his fav...horror movies vs., ones he's not as fond of, with that said great hook's and an amazing chorus, I.N.K. IS A SPECIAL BAND, NOT TOO MANY OF THEN AROUND ANY MORE , PLUS WE GREW UP ON HORROR MOVIES, AND MY GEN'*% (37YO) HAS A RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR MOVIES EVEN THE LOST BOYS, HELL YEAH DO THAT ONE .
I remember when they were so small and went to my very first gig in 2016 when they released Every Trick In the Book. They've grown sm!

Also, been an INK fan for for about 10 years now and this is one of the worst singles they've ever put out, no sugar coating it. It's your typical metal band trying to make a hard rock top-40, radio worthy song. They are always trash. It's even weak lyrically, usually Spencer is very good at writing clever lyrics. I doubt he wrote this one.
That eerie sound before “Run” sounds like the start to 115 by Slipknot, their song “My Plague” appearing on the RE soundtrack. It could be, or it’s a coincidence, but it’s something I can hear.
This song reminds me of their stuff from SIJAS a bit. Like the way the vocal melody works kinda reminds me a bit of songs like Chris Brown's Latest Hit and So This Is My Future.
I do think it’s the weakest of the new singles, personally. That being said, I do like it. Real catchy. Reminds me of a Black Veil Brides song though.
Definitely needs some screams. But they mightve wanted a clean radio hit.

Its based around Resident Evil and i was disappointed to see Ashley Costello from New Years Day die in the first like 5 seconds of the video but never made a vocal presence in the song.
“Evil has taken up residence” is in the first minute and people don’t connect that to resident evil. Anyways, play the games instead of watching the movies
