The fastest car in TD4.
I still remember how it was almost impossible to turn at top speed (352 km/h), I always resorted to gluing the car on the walls, so it just slided in...and it barely lost speed. 😂

F40 are so empty and hollow inside, just big Red Box. Jag has leather inside and great looking interior with some extra toys. If im not mistaken F40 does not even have AC.

@@TheSimonhammond The XJR15 proved they could definitely get the power out of the V12. The issue was the XJ220 was supposed to be 4wd and fitting the drivetrain *and* the V12 was a packaging nightmare that Jaguar couldn't afford to keep trying to solve. Add in emissions legislation tightening up and the fact the Metro 6R4 already had a hugely powerful V6 twin turbo AWD drivetrain available and was bought by TWR when Grp A rallying died out. Logically, it made sense, as the Ferrari F40 and Porsche 959 both used a 2.9 litre turbocharged engine. It also allowed them to make the massive car slightly shorter in the tail to make it more usable on the road.
The problem was that people had paid very large preorder deposits based on a speculative concept car and were pissed when the 4wd V12 car ended up as a 2wd V6 car, even though it was still stunning and still outran anything on four wheels quite comfortably. Some angry legal battles ensued and the orders dried up. Then about 9 months later, McLaren announced the F1 and the one big selling point that could have saved it ("It's still the fastest car on earth") no longer applied.
I can recall these being available for not much more than a base 911 a few years back. Glad to see people finally appreciating them - still possibly my favourite supercar, even with the slightly disappointing engine note.
