I've been back about a month and a half now but it's taken me a long time to edit this one. I've been out in the Peaks a few times but without the camera. I've been saying it a long time but I'm hoping to do a campsite meet this summer. Thanks for watching Antony
Top video as always Dean. love the music in you videos and the effort you put into making them cheered me up seeing it with all the snow and freezing weather we have had. ATB Kev
Thanks for watching kev, I've enjoyed playing out in the snow but wishing I was back there in the warm temperatures now :-) Roll on spring haha. Atb, Dean
This video feels a million miles away from my commute this morning through the snow :-) roll on spring and some warmer weather haha. Thanks for watching Andrea
She certainly has the confidence in front of the camera, she makes her own videos too :-) Thanks for watching Irving, hope it's not too cold over the. My friend just returned from up state New York and he froze for a week apparently, thoroughly enjoyed it though. Atb Dean
Dean Read Awesome!!! Not that cold in fact, today in the high 30’s (Fahrenheit)..although we are having today a 2nd Nor’easter in week!!, Crazy NY weather!! Not an outdoors weather for sure. Looking forward your next video Dean. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing Dean. Treated myself to a Spark on the day that they launched the Mavic Air. Maybe should have gone for the mavic. Love the compact footprint.
Been snowed off mate .took a bit of wood to cs and had a brew fingers were numb .having a sat night there to see how its coping with this beast from east and apparently storm Emma ? ..should be interesting ..lol
I enjoyed a great sunrise there last year....despite me nearly falling a very long way down on a very icy, cold winter's morning. Great set of videos of your trip to Oz. Looking forward to seeing your Peak District walks again soon...although the weather is going to have to improve. The Beast from the East appears to be causing havoc!
It is causing a bit of upset, I only just made it in to work this morning :-) Square Rock is a great little walk, I'm wishing I was back there in 30+ Degrees now haha. Thanks for watching mate
Great video as ever Dean.👍 As for the drone, I thought I had done well with the size of the Mavic until they realised there latest offerings! What are they going to come up with next.? Regards James
They'll no doubt come up with something even better to make us crave one :-) I don't know which one to get yet, haven't got the money to spare at the moment anyway. Thanks for watching James.
I knew it! 🤣 what did I tell you when you brought that Phantom LOL at least the mavic will get plenty of use as it’s easier to transport. But now with the Mavic air you have even more options 👍 great end to the series mate and your Sis is a natural bless.
I was gutted when the Mavic came out, the Phantom is amazing but it's just too darn big and not very portable. I can't afford a Mavic at the moment so will have to add it to the list or get some stuff sold on eBay :-) thanks for watching Col, you off school/work today?
Did the walk again today. Seems truely weird that you live on the other side of the world and u do walks that are local to me. Truely weird.. next time you come to Canberra let’s link up. I love your videos.
Thanks for watching Denis, it seems wierd rewatching this video as its been snowing in the UK recently. I'm missing the Aussie sunshine, hopefully I'll return again soon so would be great to meet for a walk. All the best. Dean
I was cooked James :-) Got a little sunburst on the previous video when climbing Mount Kosciuszko. Had a great time though but had to lather on the aftersun haha. Thanks for watching mate. Atb, Dean
Good series dean. Was wondering what happened to the ending. I’d get your lawyer involved when people nick your catchphrase 😆. A natural craghopper right there. Re the mavic. I’m contemplating selling my phantom (never use it too bulky unstable etc) and I’m looking at the mavic air. Cheap and does the job. Anyway. Look forward to the next vid mate. Atb.
Thanks for watching Andy, I've been pretty slack with uploads of late. This one was over a month and a half ago now :-) I've even been out camping and walking without the camera in the mean time. If I'm honest I'm looking forward to spring :-). As for the Phantom, it's just too bulky. Perfect for those who have it in the boot of Thier cars and just have a fly around but for backpacking the Mavic is definitely better. The air looks good too, just concerned about the range and wind stability, would have to see one in person first. One of the guys at work has one and he said he got 1mile away with it and then it disconnected and flew back, I bet that was a tense time waiting to see if it returned :-) haha. Hope you're well mate, atb. Dean
Yep. My favourite short walk around Canberra. Emily will love her cameo role. I'm sure she'll be showing this to everyone 😁
I hope she isn't upset with me for taking so long to upload it :-) It's a great walk and would be a nice spot for a bivvy camp
Should organise a UA-cam meet up camp in the glorious peak district when your back bud

Thanks for sharing Dean. Treated myself to a Spark on the day that they launched the Mavic Air. Maybe should have gone for the mavic. Love the compact footprint.
I think I'll go for the Mavic but need to put some money back in the bank first after this trip :-) Thanks for watching Philip

Dean Read it’s a snow day!! 😬😬👍
I stupidly agreed to do overtime today so I was up digging the car out at 6am :-) wishing I was back in the 30+ Degrees heat of Oz
Dean Read oh dear but just think of it as extra spends towards your new Mavic 😜
Very true, I'm still replacing the money I spent in Australia :-)

Thanks for watching Mike, Oz is definitely a place to have on the bucket list. Hope you haven't been too hammered by the snow down there. Atb Dean.
