No idea why UA-cam suggested me this video, but this reminds me of when I have to crawl under my house for one reason or another. I try and keep it to a minimum. Great core workout though!

What is that exactly? I've never seen any house here with a space like that. Is that below a flat roof?

@@HannaHomeServices-io6nfthere is no stone or concrete. Looks like a wooden tiny house?

@@alis49281 about 1,300 sq ft home. This type of construction used to be common here in NE Florida.

@@HannaHomeServices-io6nf oh, then it might be build so lightweight, because of the mild climate. Here in central Europe you won't find such crawl spaces in permanent homes - and if there is something similar, it is a crawl-basenent, which were commonly built in some areas until 1900.
Lightweight houses are uncomfortable during extreme weather like cold, heat or storms.
Our foundations usually had to be chosen and placed carefully or it would move later. And later means it is meant to last several centuries.
I guess the crawl space might help against flooding during heavy rain and protect the wood construction from moisture.
Heavy rain events are new here and basements flood frequently wherever they happen.

@@alis49281 this is now an outdated construction practice here in NE Florida. Everything is now built on concrete slabs. While those older homes were built on raised crawlspaces, we don't have homes with basements here. They would have water intrusion problems due to the high water table of being a peninsula.
It certainly is interesting how much geography and economics of a region can effect building practices.

That house will collapse soon enough...
