Great short video!
This is so helpful, thank you!
This is a great usage, but what if the song you're playing is riff based?
Then tabs or lead sheet is way to go :)
Pedro can you make a video showing how to depict rhythm e.g. 8th, 16th and upstroke / downstroke in a chord sheet doc? For when you want to convey tiny chord riffs or variations in strumming to a musician. Can I just do /_. /= for a chord that sets in at e.g. the last 16th note of a bar to signify some syncopation?
I am thoroughly unprepared. I have the lyrics of my song, the rhythm, but I don't know the chords. I may need to sit down with a piano player

either collaborate with someone versed in (writing chords) or learn a few basic chords and optionally the structure of the major / minor scale (Basic "music theory", very simple) on the piano or guitar (piano is easier) and just try out which chords work. That's how I write my songs without playing an instrument. I also write most of my songs without knowing any chords. Finding the chords post hoc takes time, but you'll get better over time. this video might be helpful ua-cam.com/video/u0K_xcSqhxQ/v-deo.html
